The Amazing Race: 3/29/09

I can’t find screencaps for this week’s episode…Junkie!  Anyways, I guess I’ll just commentate:

  • Can’t believe they all got to take a picture with a tiger, and get stepped over by elephants!  Awesome!
  • Why didn’t Margie drink ANY water?!  Especially after the rickshaw and she got into the taxi…Other teams had water…I do feel bad for her sometimes because she does have to do so much more because it’s just easier to communicate/accomplish the task instead of Luke doing it.

Mark & Mike…Wow, I’ve never seen a team get penalized for “tampering”…Haven’t other teams done that before?  I guess not officially touching items from a task.  That was a LONG penalty…They were really lucky all the other teams were that much behind them.  The Tweedles better be more careful from now on…

I’m SO sad about Mel & Mike being eliminated!  They were my favorite team!  I wished they would’ve double-checked about the gorilla statue and not just trusted their cab driver.  Especially once they saw all the other teams going in the opposite direction!  They always like to keep things light and have fun, but that would’ve been the time where they should’ve been more focused/serious about the task at hand.  They seemed to really have a good time on the race, and they really bonded.  It was so touching when Mel was talkiing about Mike…I’m really gonna miss them.

Now who am I going to root for?

Dancing with the Stars: 3/30/09

My Top 3 for tonight:

TY & CHELSIE:  What can I say?!  Ty just keeps getting better and more comfortable…And the dances are getting harder, which makes him even more impressive!  Chelsie is totally doing something right with him…Love her.  He’s totally becoming a contender!  He’s what the show is all about…Progress!!!

MELISSA & TONY:  Man, there sure were a lot of lifts in their routine!  I did feel that Melissa’s kicks and moves weren’t as crisp as they could be tho…But just for the entertainment and difficulty level, I’m putting them in my Top 3.

SHAWN & MARK:  Just for the pure pleasure of seeing Mark do gymnastics, wearing that gymnastics outfit, and wearing those dorky glasses and short shorts…I’m putting “Shark” in my Top 3.  Shawn is very cute, and she definitely tries very hard is very precise.  Wasn’t their best week, but at least it was entertaining.

You’re probably wondering why I didn’t put Gilles & Cheryl in my Top 3.  Obviously, technically their routine was the best.  Gilles totally matched that dance.  I’m just not wowed/drawn in to their dances compared to other pairs.  They deserve the perfect 30 that they got…I personally just don’t really love them.

It’s a double elimination this week…Because it’s a Bottom 3 instead of 2 this week, I don’t think Steve W. can avoid being in the B3.  ALTHO, considering his fans pulled him out of danger last week, you NEVER know what they could do this week…Personally, I still love him and would love if he would hang around.

My personal preference for who should leave tomorrow:

Holly & Dmitry

Steve-O & Lacey

The Celebrity Apprentice: 3/29/09

  • Well, this week’s task was probably the MOST work teams have ever had to do…Especially on Celebrity Apprentice.  Wow, did they have to get down & dirty!

  • Nice touch by Trump to throw in Stephen Baldwin & Vincent Pastore into the mix.  Lucky for Joan Stephen didn’t have to fill in a comment/rating card.

  • I thought Joan was really good as the concierge…She really steps it up and performs really well in every task.  I guess all her experience really comes in handy.

  • Considering the guys were lacking in team members, not to mention having Dennis Rodman as their project manager, they did not bad.

  • Well, the time had come…Dennis was on his last chance, and went out in “Dennis style.”  Why does he have to drink SO MUCH?!  When he was sober, he was really on it!  He was actually “leading.”  Once he started drinking, it was all downhill from there…

  • When Dennis got fired, it was actually really sad.  He was so somber, and you could tell everyone felt really bad.  It was actually a very serious scene/moment.  Like someone said on the show…”It was like an intervention…”

Adam on the radio!

Adam’s “Tracks of My Tears” was actually played on the radio in some cities!  It may not have have been played all over, but it’s the most of any AI8 and AI7 contestant…Awesome!  Go Adam!

Diane Warren on AI8 contestants

Diane Warren, one of the most famous songwriters (mainly love ballads), who has written for Carrie (“Some Hearts”) and Celine (“Because You Loved Me”) had some comments about this year’s Idol contestants.  Would you like to guess who she loves?
