MODERN FAMILY 2/10/10: 1.15 “My Funky Valentine”

It good-ole Modern Family fashion…another hilarious episode!  It’s Valentine’s Day!

• “It’s not exactly fair…I HAVE to get old…you DON’T HAVE to get fat…”  LOL!  Love Jay & Gloria

• Clive Bixby…Umm, what’s up with the name tag?!  Hee!
• “You won’t be getting any sleep tonight, so you better take a nap at work.” “I ALWAYS do…”
• “Tell me about your wife”…”She’s always so tired and she’s always making lists for me to do.”…”Maybe if you DID them, she wouldn’t be so TIRED.”..”Oh no…she can make lists for DAYS…”  HA!
• When Claire got her coat tie stuck in the escalator…!  Awesome!  Then they saw like EVERYONE they knew!
• Gloria helping Claire “change out” her coat.  As Phil said…”That was IMPRESSIVE.”

• Cam & Mitchell helping Manny out with his girl crush…so cute!
• So funny Manny…”Dirkus is gonna be there…I’ve seen that kid do a pull up!”
• “SHAAAAMMMMEEE!”  Love it!
• “Could you BE more dramatic?” ” We need A PLAN…”

Man, I can’t do these lines justice…Hopefully you watched the episode so you know what I’m talking about.  This show has the BEST lines!  So awesome!  I was rolling the whole time…

THE BACHELOR: Jake’s Choice Will Shock People

Here’s the continuation of E!’s interview with Bachelor host Chris Harrison…not liking what I’m reading:

• “As far as everyone’s opinion,” Chris says when asked about the winner, “I will steal a line from Jake. He has said, ‘I will shock people, I will disappoint people,’ but he did what he feels was right, and I totally support him. Good for him.” NOOO!  One can only assume this statement means Jake picks VIENNA in the end.  I mean, she would be the only choice that would SHOCK AND DISAPPOINT.
• “I will say I was surprised that he kept her around,” Chris tells me. “And I even asked him, ‘Really? Why?’ Every time I asked him about Vienna he said, ‘I know that the other girls don’t love her, but I see a side in her that they don’t, and I’m not going to let the cattiness and the competitiveness ruin what I have with her. And what I have with her is real.’ I have to give the guy credit to have the balls to go against what everybody’s saying.”This is probably related to that “deleted scene” I posted earlier…we don’t see the side of Vienna that Jake sees.  But still…!  Come on man!
  
• “I don’t think Vienna is the devil that she’s made out to be,” Chris says. “I’m not going to completely absolve her, but I think the real Vienna, I think there’s a mix. I think I would go somewhere between the Vienna we saw in the house and then the very warm, touching, vulnerable Vienna that we saw in her hometown.”

Not looking good here…
