VIDEO: Van de Kamp’s Commercial

Have you seen this Van de Kamp’s fishsticks commercial?!

The girl in this commercial is ADORABLE!  Plus, if I’m not mistaken, I THINK this is the same girl who plays Jack’s granddaughter in the new season of 24?

Just had to share ’cause the girl is so cute…plus she’s got a LOT of lines for such a little girl!  She does a great job!

VIDEO: Ellen Tests Bump-It on Jenna Fischer

I’ve kinda been on an Ellen run, so here’s another fun video…

Jenna Fischer (The Office) was a guest on Ellen’s show, and Ellen brought up the fact that Jenna is obsessed with the Bump-It hair attachment from an infomercial. So of course…Ellen had it there and tested out the product on Jenna’s hair!

Funny stuff!

Enjoy!

VIDEO: Kellie Pickler on The Ellen Show 2/16/10

I just HAD to post this video of Kellie Pickler on The Ellen Show yesterday.

Kellie is just HILARIOUS!  She talked about New Orleans, her grandpa, The Black Eyed Peas, getting pulled over while driving/the speed limit, and being possessed. In that order. :-)   Seriously. :-)

Enjoy!

THE BACHELOR: Fantasy Dates and…Ali the next Bachelorette? *UPDATED with Video

Just some interviews/news regarding The Bachelor:

Ali was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show today…some tidbits from the interview:

*UPDATED

I have to say, Ali comes across pretty cute and likable in the video…very “normal”:

  • On Ali’s “expectations” of Jake after leaving the show:  “One of the reasons it was okay for me to leave in the first place was because I thought, if this is love and he really cares about me then he is going to come and find me,” she told Ellen in a segment of her talk show set to air Tuesday. “He’s a pilot, like fly to get me. That would be amazing. I was pretty shocked. I thought we had something really great.” SERIOULSLY Ali?  Did you FORGET there were 3 OTHER GIRLS still around at that time?  You were THAT delusional to think that he only had eyes for you?!  Wow.
  • Would she consider being the next Bachelorette “I don’t know.  That would be so nice. I would be so flattered.” Umm, I wouldn’t be too excited to see Ali as the next Bachelorette.  I think she would get a really big head about it…become even more annoying than she already got on The Bachelor.
  • Who does Ali think/want to win Jake’s heart? “Watching actually the connection that Vienna and Jake have … I didn’t realize that was happening.  They look like a good couple. So, I actually think it could be Vienna. I want it to be Tenley.” At least she was able to admit that Vienna & Jake actually connected…sees like the animosity towards Vienna is gone.

Chris Harrison was interviewed about last night’s fantasy date episode:

  • Ali told Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday that she’d consider being the next Bachelorette. What do you think about it?
Harrison: She definitely has a shot. I think she would be a fantastic Bachelorette. I like women that have loved and lost, have learned a lesson, and you have Ali, obviously beautiful, a very down-to-earth, career-driven woman who learned a great lesson about love.
  • Do you think Gia’s elimination this week was because she couldn’t tell Jake she was in love with him?
Harrison: I do and, as silly as it sounds to say aloud, I know for a fact Jake was falling in love with all three of them. So there was a fine line in what was going to be the deciding factor and obviously Vienna completely gave herself and so did Tenley and then there was Gia who was always just fighting it. At that point, having been through this with everybody, they’re looking for anything — that one difference that can make that deciding factor.
  • What did you think about Jake and Vienna discussing wedding rings?
Harrison: Obviously viewers can absolutely read into that and it’s partly why we left it in because it is such a glaring, obvious thing, but Jake meant that as more of a joke. They were like, “What do you want to know?” and his smart-aleck response was the wedding ring. It was just too good not to leave it in. Interesting…so I guess Jake DIDN’T ask all the girls the ring question.  Odd how Chris said it was more like a joke.  Obviously it was to also stir up conversation and lead viewers a certain way as well.  When he was asking Vienna the ring questions, he sure didn’t seem like he was asking as a joke tho…Hmm…
  • So how much of the fantasy suite time is really shown?
Harrison: Very little. We shoot the dinner, when they get back there’s the dessert, and maybe they’ll sit in the hot tub for a second. Then we clear out. There’s no camera, no microphones, no nothing. We take all our equipment and we leave them and they are not seen until the next morning. If they choose to stay there, if they choose to stay up all night talking, they choose to leave and go back to their own room, it’s completely up to them; they can do whatever they want.  The only way we would ever know is if one of them said something. No one else is around to see or hear anything. The fantasy suites are always a big topic of conversation.  What REALLY happens in there?!  I guess even the show doesn’t know…only the 2 people do.  Hmm…

THE BACHELOR: Jake Interview with ET

Entertainment Tonight did an interview with Jake.

NL and Ai – Jake touched upon your comments regarding the fantasy suites (and what happened there):

  • “In the Fantasy Suite, you can sleep with one girl, or three girls … whatever as a couple you decide to do, but tomorrow there is a Rose Ceremony coming up,” Jake says. “What are you going to do when you have to look somebody in the eye and the night before you made love to them and you are sending them home? I didn’t know who was going to go home, so I wasn’t willing to rip that away from her. Minimizing regret. I don’t know what I would say looking her in the eyes and putting her in the limo. It could have been Vienna, Tenley or Gia. It just happened to be Gia. I am so glad I didn’t have to have that conversation.”
  • “The world tells you that the human heart can be in-love … my definition of in-love means I will die to make you happy. I will lay my life down for yours. You are more important to me. I felt that way for more than one girl at the same time and it is so confusing. I didn’t believe we are engineered to do that and I was so wrong,” he says.
  • Jake says — and don’t hate him for saying it — but he feels he would be lucky to wind up with any of the last five or six women. “I had to let those women go because it is not ‘Big Love,’” he jokes.

So…no “taking it to the next level” in the fantasy suites?  That’s what he says…

Carrie Blogs About Soul Surfer/Hawaii

Carrie just posted a blog about her time in Hawaii filming Soul Surfer.  She didn’t write TOO much, but had an unfortunate incident while shopping in Hawaii:

Just got back to the mainland from Hawaii and boy, did I have a great time!?! lol! Shooting for the movie was such a great experience! Bethany’s family and friends were there every step of the way to make sure we were inspired and got everything right. I had to be taught how to hold a surfboard…lol! What a wonderful project to be a part of! I couldn’t hope for a better movie and a better story to be a part of for my first movie! Everyone in and around the Hamilton family is so strong and so amazing! I am amazed and blessed to have gotten to know them! While in Hawaii, there wasn’t much time to sightsee, but we did get to wander around on Sunday. I did a little shopping, but managed to leave my bag in a restroom and when I went back about 10 minutes later to get it, the bag was there but the items were gone. I even found a hat that made me think of Miranda Lambert that I bought that was stolen! Sorry Miranda! It was super cute, too! Darn dishonest people! I know that I would’ve turned the bag in! We looked for the hat all day on people around us! It became a fun game! Of course, I don’t know what I would’ve said to anyone I saw wearing it…oh well, it’s my fault for leaving the goodies behind!

I’m assuming when she says she left her BAG in the restroom, it was her SHOPPING bag, not her purse.  Now WHERE was she shopping…?  My guess would be Ala Moana.  At least she got to do a little extracurricular activity.  Doesn’t sound like they got to do much sightseeing at all tho.  Oh well, maybe she’s be inclined to come back (for fun) at some point (altho I hope her bag incident didn’t “scare” her off!)…
