SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: Season 7 Changes & Returning Finalists

Not sure if you’ve heard…but the upcoming season of So You Think You Can Dance includes some DRASTIC changes.  This time around, the show will be bringing back former finalists from previous seasons to be paired up with the contestants to perform each week.  Kind of a Dancing with the Stars angle, I guess.  Also only ONE person will be eliminated each week, rather than the 1 boy/1 girl method done previously.  So in general there will be a much SMALLER amount of contestants competing this season.

Today the list of former finalists who are coming back was released…a BUNCH of familiar faces:

Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Season 4
Comfort Fedoke, Season 4
Courtney Galiano, Season 4
Anya Garnis, Season 3
Lauren Gottlieb, Season 3
Neil Haskell, Season 3
Allison Holker, Season 2
Mark Kanemura, Season 4
Pasha Kovalev, Season 3
Kathryn McCormick, Season 6
Ade Obayomi, Season 5
Dominic “D-trix” Sandoval, Season 3

Yay!  Some of my favorites are coming back – Courtney, Neil, Anya, Mark, Ade – should be a fun, but very DIFFERENT season!  Wonder how this format will work compared to before?

What do you think about the changes?

That’s interesting. Kinda cool to see all the past ones…they picked some good ones too! (Besides the dreaded Lauren…yuck!!) But I think I like the old format better. Who the heck is Kathryn?!?!

I know, Kathryn is the only one I didn’t know either…Maybe when we see her we’ll recognize her.

It’ll be interesting to see how this format works…with all the previous finalists there, might take away from the current contestants.
