Chris Colfer was on The View today.  He must’ve taped this interview while he was in NYC for the Glee Tour (which ended yesterday, btw).  Cute interview…nothing really new tho:

THE BACHELORETTE 5/31/10: 17 down to 14

Sorry I didn’t blog about the premiere episode…I was a bit behind that week.  But now I’m a bit more caught up, so here goes for this week…

FRANK: I was surprised that Frank got the first one-on-one date.  Although he definitely seems like a nice guy, there’s something “uji” about him.  I can’t place it.  But Ali sure seemed to like/connect with him.  I almost felt like Ali was overcompensating with him a little…like she REALLY wanted to give him a chance, so she did.  But, if they are that connected, then good for them.  For me, Frank’s just NOT QUITE RIGHT.  Maybe I need more time to see how he is…

TY: Smart guy.  That little serenade he did for Ali at the photoshoot DEFINITELY made him stand out.  But to be the ONE guy out of TWELVE to get a rose…not bad.  He seems like a stand-up guy tho.  Not sure how much chemistry there is between them yet, but…he’s worth keeping around for now.

JESSE: Wow, that was a BIG date Jesse got.  So GLAM!  Which is probably SO FAR from Jesse’s normal lifestyle.  Even the way Jesse talks, you can tell he’s the “down and dirty,” small town guy.  He seems like a nice guy tho.  Talk about A LOT of tattoos he’s got.  I was surprised that Jesse wasn’t more affectionate tho…especially when they were on the plane ride.  You could tell Ali was REALLY nervous, and it even seemed like she was being OVER-THE-TOP scared JUST so he would comfort her.  And he didn’t really do much; he grabbed her hand, but that was it.

CHRIS L: Ai – THIS is the guy you like right?  The landscaper from Cape Cod?  He didn’t get much airtime in this episode, but he seems like a good guy.

KASEY: This is the guy who’s supposedly going to become this season’s “psycho.”  Too bad because he’s pretty nice to look at.  I just CAN’T STAND his voice.  It’s so muffled.  Weird.  When he had one-one-one time with Ali, there was a word he used that was kinda weird…imaginary?  Was that it?  Anyway, it was weird.

JUSTIN: Still not totally sure his intentions for being there are for Ali, but…he’s just so DARN CUTE!  I really HOPE he’s genuine!  And those darn crutches are a curse and a blessing – they definitely hold him back because he’s always the last in line, he can’t go in the water…but yet they make him STAND OUT with Ali.  She’s always worried about him, making sure she accounts for him whenever they’re in a group.  Will have to see how things go with him…

ROBERTO: I have to say I’m a bit smitten with Roberto right now.  He’s not normally a guy I’d be attracted to, but…something about him…is REALLY APPEALING.  He’s VERY handsome…kinda reminds me of like Antonio Sabato Jr but cuter.   His eyes are really pretty.   And he seems so soft-spoken and sweet…not too aggressive but yet you KNOW he’s interested and focused on Ali.  When he and Ali threw the baseball around…VERY CUTE.  He may be MY #1 pick right now.  I’m kinda rooting for him.

CRAIG M: All I can say is:  GOOD. RIDDANCE.  OMG…Craig was SUCH a JERK.  And that’s an understatement.  He was SUCH a typical frat boy, picking on the dorks (in this case Jonathan) and just wanting to hang with the guys and party.  SO IMMATURE.  And then when he FINALLY gets time with Ali, he seemed SO DISINTERESTED!  It was annoying.  She flat out asked him if he liked her and he couldn’t even answer her.  Obviously this guy was all about his FIFTEEN MINUTES…which ended tonight thank god.  And then his little comment after he was booted about how he hopes there are some pretty girls on his flight home ’cause he needs “more attention”…GET OVER YOURSELF guy.  UGH.

JONATHAN: While I was really cutting down Craig for being a jerk, let me just say that Jonathan WASN’T much better in my eyes.  Altho he wasn’t constantly taunting others, he was just as irritating because he was so catty.  I mean, Jonathan really is that annoying little guy…the dorky guy.  And then when he gets alone time with Ali, all he wants to talk about is how big of an a** Craig is (which he is), when he should’ve been trying to get to know Ali.  I hated when he would bring up Craig, then make like he really DIDN’T WANT to tell Ali about it.  “Do you want to know…?  ‘Cause I don’t wanna be like that…but do you really want to know?” OMG…like a little girl.  But I just KNEW Ali would keep him because at least in Jonathan’s case, he said things about Craig…Ali got to “test it out,” and Jonathan was right.  So he seemed sorta heroic in Ali’s eyes…like he’s protecting her.  So she HAD to acknowledge that part of it.  But come on…there is ZERO chemistry with Jonathan…not to be mean, but if anything she should keep him around as her little munchkin spy.   He really is very SMALL isn’t he? :-p Ha!

As for the rest of the guys that Ali kept around, there were A LOT of guys who got a rose that we saw ZERO footage this week.  Makes me wonder if she really only has a small handful of actual POTENTIALS, and the rest are just there ’cause she has the “extra” roses…

As for Ali…while I really didn’t love Ali on The Bachelor, so far on The Bachelorette I’m OK with her.  I do think she laughs too much and almost tries too hard sometimes, but I do think she’s very grateful for being chosen as the Bachelorette, and she seems to really want to find a life partner.  She seems to really be giving these guys a chance, and so far, just by getting rid of Craig M, she’s at least making OK decisions.  I’m not in LOVE with her by any means, but at least she’s not annoying the heck out of me…yet.

Oh, but I didn’t really love how she pretty much MADE OUT with Frank at the cocktail party tho…knowing that all the guys were probably watching, she should’ve cut that off.  But maybe that’s a tell as to how much she’s into Frank right now…?

VIDEO: Lee DeWyze on The Ellen Show 5/28/10

Lee DeWyze made his first official talk show appearance as the new American Idol on Ellen’s show Friday.

Still why we love him, Lee was his usual humble self.  Very cute and seems like such a nice guy.  Ellen was nice enough to embarrass Lee by showing a clip from another appearance he had made on Ellen’s show.  It’s a pretty funny clip.  Poor guy. :-p
