I didn’t have a lot of time to watch last night, so I just have a few comments about the performances:
- While she didn’t get the highest score last night, I still loved watching Katherine. She’s just so pretty and she really has a flair. She did a great job with the “intensity” of the paso doble. Considering where she started in the rehearsals, she really stepped up. Great job!
- I actually thought the judges were quite generous with their scores last night. People like Gavin, who they seemed to kind of put down…they still gave him pretty decent scores!
- Was Donald that good? I know the football guys tend to do well with the paso. I guess he definitely had the masculinity and intensity DOWN, but…Maybe I didn’t pay attention well enough.
- Aww…William finally messed up. When I was watching him, pretty much the whole time I felt it was awkward and off. Yet he still got like 8s?!
- Roshon is another one where the judges just gushed over him, but I wasn’t necessarily impressed that much. He’s definitely pretty good, but…Eh. Maybe I just don’t care for him much.
PREDICTIONS:
- Who’s going home tonight? Tough call. My guess would have to be Gladys. While I love her, and I’m so happy that she doesn’t come across as a typical diva, her scores obviously need to be higher. If not her, probably Gavin or Roshon.

Donald: I watched the first few seconds and got distracted and before I knew it it was finished and everyone was raving about his performance! I think the judges and audience were more wowed by him being shirtless!
But getting all nines was a pretty high praise!
Why don’t you like Roshon? I guess he can come across as sort of brash, but he’s young and still a kid. Never heard of him before the show.
Like you, I think it’ll be Gladys or Gavin although I’ve come to like Gavin much more than when it started. I don’t think Melissa is very good either, but her fan base might be strong.

I’m sure Donald deserved a bunch of that praise he got…But yeah, I’m sure the shirtless thing helped.
It’s not that I DON’T like him, per se…I just wouldn’t say I like him either.
I don’t know…He just doesn’t really stand out much to me. He’s missing some kind of charisma or something for me.

Ahhh…..as the results started being revealed (Gavin safe! Yah!) I did think it was probably Sherrie that was going home. Maybe I was sort of hoping it was her out of those who were left. However, as she was giving her goodbye speech, I felt so bad for her!
I do sort of see why Roshon might get irritating….his little facial antics….and his prereveal comments sounded a little smug, too. I really like Chelsea, though so gotta take the good (Chelsea) with the not so good. But as you said, it’s not that he’s insufferable, but just not as likable as some of the others. Did it surprise you to hear the judges say that Roshon had the best hold (not sure that’s what it’s called) of all the male dancers?
Since Donald’s dance was the one the judges wanted to see again, I watched it carefully this time.
I guess he was pretty good.

I LOVE Chelsie too, so I wish they would give her a good partner! I think Ty was the best partner she’s had so far…altho she wasn’t going to be able to win with him.
Yes, I was surprised to hear the judges talk about how great Roshon’s hold is. Altho I don’t know dancing at ALL, so I’m sure they know what they’re talking about.
Haha…I guess Donald’s praise was worthy/earned huh?
