Katherine really had to SHAKE IT this week…and she did! Like she said, she was able to get “the bounce,” and she really did a great job! This show is becoming so fancy…Bringing in the ACTUAL motown artists to sing the songs they’re dancing to?! Wow. Nice.
Still waiting for that elusive “30″ from the judges tho…just gotta win Len over! Only a matter of time…

Love Katherine….too bad something about Mark still irritates me, but not enough to deter me from cheering Katherine on. I think Maria is also beautiful and a wonderful dancer; again, not so excited about her partner. I think these two will be in the final four. Also William. Not sure about the fourth.
I agree with the wow factor is having them dance to live singing! I guess they have to think of something difference to spice it up each season. This is a great new element to the show!
Wonder who will be the one to go home? I like the new “dancing for the save: between the bottom two. I think it gives the judges a chance to save what could be a “shocking” elilmination and is based solely on who is the better dancer of the bottom two instead of risking a person not going home by just winning the popular vote. Helps to “keep it real.”

So they are going to do the dance duel every week from now on? Yes, that’s definitely a different element…and gives the judges way more power. It’s basically like X Factor in that way.
I think Top 3 will be Katherine/Maria/William. Altho who knows, Jaleel might be able to squeeze in there? He was good this week! I was really happy Katherine won the marathon! Was worried that all of William’s “theatrics” were going to pull him to the top. I was getting kind of annoyed with all his sliding across the floor, etc. THAT’S NOT DANCING. While the guy is good, I do feel he’s overrated a bit. His sex appeal counts towards at least 2/3 of the reason he’s still there. And for some reason, just not a big fan of Maria. She’s good, but something about her just kinda turns me off. Being with Derek definitely doesn’t help her case. I know what you mean about Mark…His appeal has definitely gone down over the years. Loved him back during the Kristi Yamaguchi season.
As for who will go home tonight…Gladys? I do wonder how popular Melissa Gilbert is. I figure she’s kind of the middle of the pack, yet her notoriety might be helping carry her a bit.

Awww…so Gladys went home. I figured it was her time, but I really loved her spirit and grace. I heard she lost 60 pounds. She does look way slimmer; you can even see it in her face.
I know what you mean about Maria and Derek being irritating. Can’s quite put my finger on it. I get the feeling that they think they are so cool together……maybe that’s it.
Also agree with William getting free “passes” just because he’s got sizzling looks. He does seems quite humble and gracious though and very grateful for his popularity but he’s not THAT great a dancer. Can shake those hips nicely.
Yep, the last time I really liked Mark was when he won with Kristi. He just got a little more unlikable to me as each season goes by.
Again, why does he and Derek usually get the pretty girls? I also see a pattern with who Maks is paired with, too….kind of the semi popular, but older, but not oldest woman. I’ve been wondering about how popular Melissa is also. So far it’s kept her in; she’s improving, but she’s still not as good as the others. Comments think she should be the next to go.

Yeah, while it did seem like Gladys’ time, I did enjoy her. She had a great attitude and seemed like she really wanted to win.
Maria & Derek being a little “cocky” about them as partners…I agree. I think they do feel they are so cute/cool together.
I agree that William isn’t cocky or arrogant tho. But sometimes he definitely uses his “appeal” too much. Stick to the actual dancing! Altho you’re probably right…he’s really not THAT great of a dancer, so he has to rely more on some “other stuff” to keep himself in the game a bit.
Derek especially and Cheryl usually get the “hotter” people. Mark tends to get contenders as well. Maks usually gets paired with the “fiery” woman…not necessarily the older ones, but the ones who are more headstrong. He needs to have someone who could go head to toe with him. ‘Cause pretty much every season he makes his partner cry AT LEAST once. I do agree that Melissa’s time is running out. Her notoriety can only last so long since her scores aren’t as high as they need to be.
