With the TV shows starting to come back into production, promotion is starting up again.  Umm…totally loving it! Get to see all the stars again!  I’ve missed seeing them at all these events…!

LEA MICHELE: Harpers Bazaar – September 2011

I’m kinda LOVING these shots from the photoshoot! Lea looks great and the shots are so artsy!

This next one’s my favorite…I LOVE all the flowers & colors!  Altho I’m not the biggest fan of the open mid-drift, I love how the wind’s blowing her dress…looks cool:

GLEE: MET Gala 5/2/11 + *POLL*

A few of the Gleeks attended the annual MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art) Gala in NYC tonight.  This is the event where a lot of celebrities (especially the ladies) dress pretty wild & funky…which I guess is supposed to be “artsy.”  The Gleeks were pretty tasteful:

Dianna Agron

I’m guessing this look is a “goddess” look.  The dress has an interesting cut, and Dianna pulls it off very well.  Her hairdo is a bit severe, but it matches the look.  Love how the dress just falls.  So sleek and flattering.

Matthew Morrison

Altho Matthew looks great, I’m not a big fan of the white tux.  I guess it adds a little bit of “pizzazz” to the look…and if you were going to be more “bold,” this would be the event to do it.

Lea Michele

I thought Lea looked gorgeous!  Loved the red…and her hair!  Haven’t seen her hair so straight like this in a while…so pretty!  The dress (Escada) had kind of a “patchwork”/ragged look…interesting.  Kinda funky yet classy.  Altho her purse was so tiny, I thought it was really cute and matched her look so well!

GLEE GIRLS FASHION: Grammy Awards 2/13/11 + *POLL*

It’s the Grammy Awards!  Here are the Glee gals on the red carpet.  Bear in mind that the Grammy Awards fashion tends to be more on the “funky” side…   This is one of those awards shows where “daring” is more allowed…

 

Jenna Ushkowitz

• Oh Jenna…WTH is THAT?!  Every awards show it’s getting worse… :-/

Dianna Agron

• Dianna kinda went for the “rocker chic” look…not the biggest fan of the eye makeup.  The hair’s pretty funky…altho it does match the whole music/Grammy thing.
• I like her better with the natural/classy look.

Amber Riley

• Wow.  That’s a very busy dress.  And I saw on the red carpet interviews that her necklace is ATTACHED to that shoulder “pad”…   Funky!

 

Naya Rivera

• Altho it’s a bit “boring,” I like the color of this dress.  The whole short skirt with the train in the back is weird.  And I don’t really like her hair like that…makes it look messy.

 

Lea Michele

• Lea looks great…but I think I liked some of her other awards show dresses more.  Once again, way to spice it up and change the color (she wore pink, then white already this year to award shows)!  It’s definitely got that sexy vibe – the little peek-a-boo section in the middle, and of course…gotta love that slit!  Black matches the Grammys too…adds to the “rocker” feel.

• Heather has been impressing me lately at these award shows.  Her look/outfits have gotten SO MUCH better.  Not the biggest fan of the feathery part on top, but overall it’s a very “award show-y” dress.

• Umm…other than the color, which is pretty nice…no comment.

• As usual, Lea doesn’t disappoint…loving the sparkle!

• 2 for 2 Mark!  GG & SAG…NICE!  I like the touch of red with the tie!

Harry Shum, Jr.

• Hmm…I don’t know about this look of Harry’s…the pink?  A bit odd.

I know guys pretty much look all the same, but I will ask anyway:

NINA DOBREV: InStyle/Warner Bros GG After-Party 1/16/11

Not all the celebrities are able to attend the actual award show…but a lot of them come to the parties afterwards.  The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev attended the InStyle/Warner Bros party, looking super cute!

I just love her style/fashion sense!  Not to mention she’s so pretty (and skinny)!

As far as fashion goes, besides Glee, there were a bunch of other NOTABLE celebrities (in this case, all women):

Olivia Wilde (House)

• Olivia’s dress was very reminiscent of Lea Michele’s black Oscar De La Renta dress from last year’s Globes…Really pretty tho!  Love the sparkle and the color gradation!

 

Julie Bowen

• Julie is so skinny…she can pretty much wear anything!  Usually I’m not a big fan of the “feathery” look…but this one works!

Sofia Vergara

• Sofia Vergara + red dress…seems about right doesn’t it?

Halle Berry

• Interesting cut and style…only Halle Berry could make something this “daring” WORK!  Helps that she’s just so FLAWLESS to begin with…

 

Natalie Portman

• Such a perfect style to “hide” Natalie’s baby bump!

 

Amy Adams

• LOVE the color of Amy’s dress!  And the cut fits her body so well!

Catherine Zeta-Jones

• Green was one of the popular colors this year at the show…looks great on Catherine!

 

Carrie Underwood

• Carrie…so pretty as always!   Nice that she got to attend these awards, as she was nominated for Best Original Song (she co-wrote it) for “There’s A Place For Us” from The Chronicles of Narnia! (Unfortunately she didn’t win )

Eva Longoria

• I thought Eva looked great!  That black was so sleek and it really fit her like a glove…and for a tiny girl, she really worked this long dress!

• For some reason when I see Naya in this one, it makes me think of Eva Longoria.  And there’s a bunch of “propping” going on there…

• I love Jessalyn’s style!  She looks great!  Love the style of the dress!

• Jane sticks with what she’s comfortable…pretty much the same style every time.

Lea Michele

• I just love how at every awards show, Lea really CHANGES her look.  I love how she tries to wear a different COLOR everytime, etc.  Pink is so happy and pretty!  And man, does she look slim!

• Sorry, but Lea was the only one where there actually were pictures of the back of her dress, so…had to put it in!

Glee was nominated for quite a few awards…including Best TV Comedy, so of course the WHOLE cast was in attendance!
