CHUCK 1/25/10: 3.05 “Chuck vs First Class”

Well, I HAD to blog about this episode…why?!  Two words:  KRISTIN KREUK!

I was SO excited when I had read she was cast to be on the show…I LOVED her on Smallville and was SO sad when Lana left the show…and we haven’t seen her in a long time…so I was really looking forward to seeing her!

And boy, did she look GOOD!

• I LOVE her hair!  The shorter do really makes her look older and more mature!

• I liked the dynamic between Hannah and Chuck.  Just like on Smallville, Kristin comes across as very sweet and down to earth.  Hard not to like her.  She and Zachary Levi have pretty good chemistry…they would make a cute couple!

• I have to say…Kristin is so good with the looks.  When she looks at someone, she’s able to “say” so much with her eyes…It’s hard to explain unless you see it.  She had it on Smallville, and she’s still got it on Chuck. Good stuff.   And you wonder why Clark Kent was SO in love with Lana…
• I had read that Kristin’s run will be at least 4 episodes…!  Looks like she’ll be working at the Buy More too!  Awesome!  I just hope her character doesn’t end up being a “bad guy,” like many of these “guest stars” do!  Hopefully she’s just in as a love interest for Chuck.  Looking forward to the rest of the episodes!

Quick sidenote:

• Umm…Josie Davis?!  Wow.  Can you say Charles In Charge?!  Man, that was a long time ago…and she basically looks the same!  Pretty cool!  Interesting role for her “comeback”…

CHUCK 1/17/10: 3.04 “Chuck vs. Operation Awesome”

• I mostly just wanted to blog about this week’s Chuck because of Brandon Routh and Angie Harmon!  Me and my celebrity guest stars.  Love it!
• Angie looked GOOD!  I have to say I was kiinda rooting for her in her fight with Sarah.  I KNOW she was the “bad guy” in the fight, but still.   Guess it was a one-time appearance since her character got killed off…Too bad.
• Brandon Routh…good looking guy!  I mean, he was Superman after all!  Seems like he will definitely play a role in the whole Chuck/Sarah thing…nice little “diversion” for Sarah.
• I have to say it’s not quite the same having Chuck all “equipped” now.  It’s entertaining, but a bit odd.  Yes, he’s still a bit dorky, but…now he’s almost like “running the show” for some of these operations, which is not very “Chuck-like.”  I liked when he was ALL DORKY all the time.

CHUCK: Season 3 Poster

Just thought I’d post the Season 3 poster for the upcoming season of Chuck:

It’s a cute tag line…he’s all “bada**” now.  Or so it seems… :-p

Gosh, it seems so long since we last saw Chuck…gonna have to refresh and get back into it.  It’ll be good to see new episodes tho!

CHUCK: Angie Harmon guests

Man…Chuck keeps rolling out the celebrity guest stars!  First it was Brandon Routh, then Kristin Kreuk.  Now, EW’s The Ausiello Files is reporting that Angie Harmon (Law & Order, Women’s Murder Club) will be guest starring this upcoming season as a spy who wants to kill “Awesome”.

Yay!  Love Angie Harmon!

CHUCK: First Superman…now Lana!

First Superman Returns’ Brandon Routh was cast, now EW’s The Ausiello Files just reported that Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk (Lana) is the newest star to come to Chuck this upcoming season!  She’ll be doing a multiple episode run, playing a potential love interest for Chuck.

Umm…can you say AWESOME?!  I’m so excited!  I SO miss Lana on Smallville…but I’ll take Chuck.

Superman vs. Chuck!

 

According to JustJared, Superman Returns star Brandon Routh is coming to Chuck for a multiple-episode run!  He’ll be playing a spy who becomes a mentor to Chuck, and who will also be a rival for the affections of Sarah!  How exciting!

For me, Brandon Routh was the main reason I liked/watched Superman Returns.  Of course, he’s NO Tom Welling…:-)…but he’s definitely QUITE a handsome guy!   I’m looking forward to seeing him on the show!

Chuck: Chuck & Sarah?

EOnline posted an interview with Chuck co-creator & executive produce Josh Schwartz about the fate of Chuck & Sarah’s relationship next season…Seems like there will be some “obstacles” in the way of them finally really having a relationship…But gotta have some wrenches thrown in I guess, huh?

Also…”Awesome” as a spy?!  That should quite INTERESTING…

Chuck: Season (or is it Series?) Finale 4/27/09

So we have come to the last episode of Chuck for this season…But the big question is…Is it the last episode EVER of Chuck?!  Only time will tell…

• OMG…I felt so bad for Ellie when EVERYTHING went wrong at her wedding!  Talk about a mess!

• Well, Jeffster finally got their BIG GIG that they always wanted…

• Probably was better the wedding ended up getting crashed…Ellie didn’t want a big wedding anyway.  Leave it to Chuck to come thru and give her an awesome wedding on the beach!  It was so much better and so pretty!  Great job Chuck!
• Woodcomb!   So THAT’S Devon’s real last name!  That name doesn’t ring a bell, so I don’t think we ever knew that, right? 

• Bryce was back again…I never really liked him much, even tho we find out he was working with Chuck’s dad all the way back from when they were at Stanford!  Glad that Sarah decided not to go with Bryce…!  Guess he could tell…and you can’t really deny when you see Sarah & Chuck together…

• Interesting how Chuck’s dad also had the intersect as well…
• That was kind of a neat twist that Roark wasn’t the only bad guy in this whole thing…Poor guy didn’t even see it coming…and he ends up getting shot, just like that.  Happened so fast.

• I liked when Chuck went along with Sarah & Casey to help them fight, even tho he didn’t have the intersect in him anymore, but he could still be part of team.  I thought maybe that’s where the story was going to go…That he was just going to be their sidekick…Little did I know…
• So I guess Bryce is really dead now.  In the end he was a good guy just doing his job…It was kind of interesting because it ended almost the way it started…With Bryce giving Chuck the intersect.
• I didn’t think Chuck would do it…Putting the new intersect into him again?!  But I guess how else could the show really go on if he didn’t have all that in his brain?  But now with a new twist…KUNG FU?!

• Didn’t quite expect that.  But it was pretty funny when he just busted out all those kung fu moves like nothing!  I noticed that when he flashed, it was a little different…And I did see the japanese/foreign characters flash by, which was also different…So I did expect a different outcome.  But not quite that.  Kinda cool.  So now he can like full-on…KICK BUTT!  But will we actually get to see him use it?!  Will the show be able to continue so that we can see where this new development will go…?  I guess we’ll have to wait (and hope!) and see…

Chuck: 4/20/09

• Well, Chuck & Sarah pretty much have gotten together now…About time. 
• Cool, glad to know Casey wanted to help Chuck find his dad.  Cute how he was hurt that Chuck & Sarah didn’t ask him to come along in the first place…
• SIDE NOTE:  Did you see the “go green” commerical starring Zachary Levi?  His hair was short!  He looked so cute!  He really is quite a good-looking guy…
• Wow.  Can’t believe Chuck told Devon his secret.  Better Devon than Ellie I guess.  Cute how Devon reacted.  Love him.  Now he really has to show how “awesome” he is by covering for Chuck w/Ellie. 
• So cool how Chuck’s dad can send messages to Chuck…Like on that billboard.  Tron!
• Chevy Chase building and army…Oh boy…
• Aww…Chuck’s dad is awesome!  Did he really remove the intersect from Chuck’s memory?! 
• The General…So rude to Chuck! :-p
• Morgan quitting the Buy More?!   What’s going on?
• Just when everything seemed to be coming together…Chuck is free from the intersect…Chuck & Sarah can now be together…Chevy Chase is still hanging around?  Gonna crash the wedding?  Geez.
• Umm…and Bryce is back for the season finale?  Great.

Chuck: 4/13/09

• I liked having Jill back…I know she’s Fulcrum, but still…Adds a little.  I do have a partiality to her because I knew her (Jordana Brewster) from when she used to be on the soap As The World Turns. 
• Chuck…Loved when he was making the fake accent when he was pretending to be “Uncle Bernie.”
• He’s such a good guy…Letting Jill go after she helped them.  He probably still has a soft spot for her…
• Sarah must’ve been dying, hearing/seeing Jill & Chuck pretending to be ”engaged”…
• Poor “Big Mike”…Swindled by the dorky guy (His name totally escapes me at the moment)…That was low.  And poor Morgan got totally sucked into his plan.
• ON THE RUN!!!  Yay Sarah!  Going against the government!  Is this the turning point where Sarah & Chuck will FINALLY get together?  Sure looked like it in the preview for next week…Can’t wait!

Chuck: 4/6/09

• Scott Bakula as Chuck’s dad?! Wow, haven’t seen him in a long time…Quantum Leap was a long time ago.  He kinda looks the same, just a bit older.  So HE was Orion…Guess that makes sense.  Looks like there’s a good chance they could bring him back in another episode…

• Not only Scott Bakula…Chevy Chase too!  Gosh.  These guys get around.  First Chevy was Sally Field’s boyfriend on Brothers & Sisters, now he’s on Chuck.  He’s gotten some good gigs.

• That guy that Chuck had to interview with…Is it just me, or did he kinda have a bit of Orlando Bloom going on…?  Kinda cute.

• I love Chuck.  Having to sit on those exercise balls in his interview…He’s so dorky but lovable.  And he’s actually really not that dorky. 

• Oh no…Jill’s back in the next episode?!  That should be interesting…

Chuck: 3/30/09

• The 49B…Did we like her?  I think not. 

• I love Devon.  For a guy who is quite “awesome” in many ways (he sure LOOKS like he’d be a player and so full of himself), he really is a great, sweet guy.  How can Ellie really think he would cheat?!

• Can’t believe they replaced Sarah.  That’s a nice little twist in the storyline…She and Chuck were getting pretty close.
• That was nice of Casey to stick up for Chuck & Sarah.  Deep down he’s got a heart.

• Wow, Sarah found Chuck & Ellie’s dad!  My DVR cut off the last moment of the show…I’m assuming they didn’t show who his face right?

Chuck: 3/23/09

• Wow, so Chuck finally has the info to try to get the intersect out of his brain!  Wonder if he’ll actually be able to get it out?  I doubt it.  They would need to end the show otherwise…
• They’re replacing Sarah next week?!  What’s up with that?  I’m sure that won’t last long…I wasn’t the biggest Sarah fan when the show first started, but she has definitely grown on me.  I really like her and Chuck together…She’s gotten much more likable, sweet and cuter now. 

Chuck: 3/2/09

Chuck & Sarah need to get together already! I love all of their “moments” that they have nowadays in almost every episode.

Not liking that they’re bringing in this foreign guy for Sarah…Didn’t like when they brought Chuck’s ex-gf into the story, and not liking this guy even more.  Hopefully this won’t last too many episodes…
