TOM WELLING: Leaving Jimmy Fallon (VIDEO)

I haven’t been on a Smallville high in quite a while…and to be honest I haven’t watched the last how many episodes.  The show just isn’t the same anymore.  BUT I will DEFINITELY be watching the SERIES FINALE next week.  After ten years, I HAVE to see how it ends.  Not to mention LEX (Michael Rosenbaum) is coming back!

Anywho, Tom Welling was a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night (couldn’t find a good video to post), and someone took video of Tom leaving Rockefeller Center after his interview:

Umm…how GREAT does Tom look?!  Loving the suit…he’s SO HANDSOME!  This is starting to get me excited to watch the finale.  Even after all this time, still can’t get over how good looking he is.  I could probably stare at him all day.

SMALLVILLE Casting News: Lois’ Mom

OK, this is like the BEST news since they announced Vanessa Williams was joining Desperate Housewives…

It has been announced that for this last season of Smallville, we will finally get to see Lois Lane’s mother.  And who will be playing her?!

NONE OTHER THAN…

TERI HATCHER!!!

I can’t even speak.  That is THE MOST AWESOME news. EVER.  Seriously.

Not sure how many of you watched it, but I LOVED Teri back when she played Lois Lane on The Adventures of Lois & Clark (with Dean Cain)…and now she’s playing Lois’ mom!

That says a lot about how Teri feels/respects about the role that basically made her famous (remember that Superman cape pic that made Teri a sex symbol?)…

I cannot WAIT for this. For what I thought was going to be just a ho-hum last season of the show…it just got a lot brighter.

SMALLVILLE 4/2/10: 9.16 “Escape”

Since I haven’t posted about Smallville in a while…

Not much to really write about the ACTUAL storyline…still annoyed about Lois & Clark together.  I like Chloe & Oliver together.

SMALLVILLE 10/30/09: 9.06 “Crossfire”

• I have to admit…seeing Lois & Clark as Metropolis’ “Regis & Kelly” was kinda cute.
• Helps that Clark so so gosh darn good in that suit!  *swoon*
• I was thinking…are they REALLY going to continue this whole co-host thing?!  But then…they didn’t.

• I felt so bad for Oliver…after he FINALLY confessed his love for Lois…not to mention on television…he gets shut down!

• Maybe I should start swooning more after Oliver instead of Clark now…after all, he’s gosh darn cute too!  AND, he’s not making out with Lois! :-p

• So I guess right now it’s Tess vs. Zod…
• Zod’s got his work cut out for him…Tess is not easily manipulated…

• NOOO!  I knew it was coming…but I REALLY didn’t need to see Lois & Clark make out at the end…
• I guess this relationship is really starting to heat up now…*sigh*

SMALLVILLE 10/23/09: 9.05 “Roulette”

Not too much to write about this episode except…

The Green Arrow is BACK!   Yay!  More eye candy…!   He looks really good in his suit…

The new crimefighting team!  Altho the usual Tom eye candy is nice…2 is better than 1!    Too bad Clark’s “suit” doesn’t show off his arms like Oliver’s does…:-p

Smallville 10/02/09: 9.02 “Metallo”

• OMG.  That scene where they revealed John Corben as “Metallo” totally GROSSED ME OUT!  It reminded me of the scene from Iron Man when he made his iron suit thing.  Just thinking about all those tubes going in and out of him…and everything being all DIRTY and gross…YUCK!  Really did make me feel all grossed out.

 

• Supposedly “Clark Kent” doesn’t exist anymore.  Only “the blur.”  Umm…how does Clark expect to pull that off?!

• I hate how things are so awkward now between Clark & Chloe.  They used to be a great team…and now they just kinda are civil with each other.  Chloe definitely helps Clark where/when she can still, but it’s just not the same.
• What’s even more annoying is that Clark relies on Lois so much more…and makes such an effort to keep in contact with her…and you know how I feel about Lois…irritating!

• Even tho it seems like Metallo/John Corben died, I don’t think this is the last we’ve seen of him…Tess seems like she’s “keeping” him.  And she keeps digging deeper, so she’ll find out more and more as time goes on…

Smallville: Season Premiere 9/25/09

*UPDATE:  OK, I hope all the pics are working now!  Sorry about that! :-p

And we begin SEASON 9…can you believe it?!

 

 

• The debut of Clarks new “suit”!  It sure matches the whole mood of this season…very DARK and BROODING.  Tom’s so tall that wearing that long coat is perfect for him.  He’s a force to be reckon with…

 

• I can’t remember now…What exactly does the “S” stand for right now?  ‘Cause Clark’s NOT Superman YET…Was it just a Kryptonian symbol?  Oh…or does it stand for “Savior,” which was the name of this episode?

 

• The introduction of Zod.  Kinda weird ’cause it doesn’t seem like he quite knows his “purpose” yet…or at least not really.

 

 

• Brian Austin Green.  I’m sorry, but he’s just not great to look at.  Never thought he was good looking…he’s definitely more mature looking now, but still…not good looking.  All I think about when I see him is…How was he able to “land” Megan Fox AND Vanessa Marcil?! 

 

 

• Now HERE’S a good looking guy.  I did have a bit of Tom Welling withdrawals over the summer…nice to have the eye candy back!
• And WHY I’m OK with his new “suit”…gotta love the T-shirts…he always looked GOOD in something as simple as a T-shirt.

 

 

• Poor Chloe…asking her best friend to do her ONE favor…and he can’t do it.

 

 

• I know the Lois & Clark thing is inevitable…but Lois still irritates me.  I guess I have to start tolerating her more since she’s pretty much gonna be there FOREVER…:-p

Smallville: Clark’s “suit”

Basically it’s a cute little “S” t-shirt with a nice, dark, long coat and boots.  Honestly, I’d rather have him without the coat…those of you who have watched Smallville know that Clark/Tom Welling looks VERY GOOD in something as simple as a t-shirt.

Tom Welling made an appearance at the annual Comic-Con Convention to promote the new season of Smallville, which will start its 9TH season in September.  9 seasons!  Can’t believe it’s been that long!

Casting news for Smallville Season 9

Just a couple of casting notes for the upcoming season of Smallville…yes, I still watch this show…mainly for Tom Welling, but the show isn’t quite like it used to be…it’s gotten a lot bigger storyline-wise…it’s more about the whole “bigger picture” now with Clark/Kal-El and his “destiny.”  Anywho…

Brian Austin Green, who most of you know as “David Silver” from Beverly Hills, 90210 back in the 90s…he also was on the FOX series Terminator:  The Sarah Conner Chronicles.  He has been cast in a short-lived role as “Metallo” this season.  Brian’s also pretty well-known for having an on/off relationship with Megan Fox, from the Transformers movies.

Also in casting news…

Callum Blue has been cast as the nemesis Zod in this upcoming season.  For those of you who watched the WB show Related for the short season it was on…I LOVED that show, btw…He played Jennifer Esposito’s character Ginnie’s husband, Bob.  You may also remember him from Princess Diaries 2 as the prince Anne Hathaway was supposed to marry.

Smallville: 4/30/09

Just a few thoughts about this episode:

• So Jimmy is a drug addict now…?!  This is what he has become?  Altho I know that Jimmy is really a good guy, he just really irritates me…a lot.  So I really don’t care too much about what happens with his character, and I’m glad he and Chloe aren’t together anymore.

• Davis/Doomsday & Chloe:  CHLOE’S LEAVING?!  So in order to save Clark, she will basically sacrifice her life to stay with Davis so that he remains “calm” and doesn’t get the urge to kill.  How can she seriously think she can live her life like that?!

• Clark better find Chloe!  I know he will…He needs his “best bud”…

Smallville: 4/23/09

This week’s episode was just…Eh.  I was getting all into the Doomsday stuff, then they took a break from it this week!  Junkie!

• What is Jimmy doing?!  He’s all involved with all these mobster thugs…Is this what he has become?

• Stilleto?  Seriously?  Kinda lame, I do have to say…On the other hand, Lois is pretty good at kicking butt, considering she doesn’t have any superpowers whatsoever…

• Clark is very lucky…It’s amazing how whenever he REALLY is in danger, and he can’t protect himself because of kryptonite…Someone always comes thru to help him out.  I mean, when you think about it…He would totally be a goner otherwise…

• Poor Chloe and her situation.  Housing Davis/Doomsday, keeping it from Clark.  What is she going to do?  Stay down there with Davis forever?!  On the other hand…Sure helps to have a killer living with you when you get caught in a predicament with some thug…Like your own personal “watchdog.” 

• Except that you have to clean up the mess afterwards…
• Wonder how much longer Chloe’s going to be able to keep this up…

• Clark…*SWOON*

• I do think it’s so funny how they’re reffering to him as “the red & blue blur”…Come on!  It’s Superman!  He’s just wearing a red jacket & blue shirt instead of the spandex suit!   

• Even tho with the suit, you’d be able to see more muscles…:-)…I kinda like the jacket & shirt better.  Makes him cuter somehow and more “normal.”  Sticks with the whole “Smallville” theme…

Smallville: No Chloe next season?!

E! News did an article where they interviewed the producers of Smallville, and they try to give us some hints as to what’s to come on the show…Like, will Chloe survive and still be around next season?!  I sure hope so!  I love Chloe’s character…Plus, Clark needs Chloe!  She’s his “wing man”!

Smallville: 4/2/09

I do have to say that Smallville has been quite good the last few episodes…This whole Doomsday storyline has been quite intruiging…

• Gosh…Tess really knows the whole truth about Clark now.  When did that happen?  I don’t remember her knowing for sure that Clark was “The Traveler.”  How could Lionel/Lex not have figured it all out before?!  That book sure seemed to lay it out pretty clearly for Tess…

• So both Clark & Davis were sent to Earth during the meteor shower at the same time…Didn’t quite see that coming.  I’m not a big follower of the comic books…Is that what happens in the comics?

• Didn’t quite expect Tess to just blow Davis up like that.  Geez, what if she had the wrong guy?! 
• I still really feel for Davis…After all, it really isn’t his fault for the way he is.  He didn’t have a choice in the matter, and he doesn’t want to be a killer.  He had such a hard life, whereas Clark had like the best life.  Now he’s just trying to fight off the “killer instinct” in the “safest” way he knows how…

• Poor Chloe.  She’s so torn.  We all know she has feelings for Davis, but it’s so hard knowing what he’s done…I mean, you really can’t deny all the evidence…

• So Lex actually kind of knew Davis when he was young…That was interesting.  And Davis has had that killer instinct ever since he was a boy…

• The whole Davis/Chloe/Clark scene was pretty touching.  The fact that Davis would kill himself in order to protect everyone else show’s what kind of guy he really is…

• And Chloe always does the right thing…Even tho it was killing her to have to do that to Davis.

• Now that we know that Davis didn’t die, and that he’s even stronger than ever…In fact, he’s immortal…Clark had better watch out.  After all, Davis’ sole destiny is to destroy Clark/Kal-El…

• Or maybe Chloe really is the key to keeping Davis from killing…And for protecting Clark.  That’s pretty much the sole role of Chloe anyway…To be there for Clark in his time of need, to protect him…I love that about her.  So maybe this is what she has to do now…But does that mean she has to give up everything just to do this for Clark and the world?
