THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 5/15/11: Down To 2

Just a few thoughts about this pre-finale episode:

  • Note to Lil’ Jon:  Umm…WHY would you flat out say you DON’T think you’re going to be in the Final 2?!  HELL-O?!  Yes you make actually THINK that JR & Marlee out-fundraise you, thus making them more likely to make it to the end…but you still have to LIE and say that you think YOU YOURSELF will win/make it!  You’re just ASKING to be fired!
  • Marlee vs John Rich – definitely the BEST Top 2 they could come up with this season (other than maybe Jose vs Richard, or Star vs Nene…but those would be JUST for drama sake ;) )…they are the two best fundraisers and I think head to head they’ll make for a good finale.
  • John Rich questioning WHY Marlee would give up the music task and taking the sports task.  DON’T GET COCKY JR…You may THINK you have this win in the bag…but as Marlee says, Don’t EVER undestimate me.  I’d listen to her if I were you, JR. ;)
  • I like both of their Retro 7-Up cans…they both represent their decades well.  Not sure if I favor one over the other.  I kinda like the disco one tho…
  • Uh oh…another meltdown from Meatloaf…gotta love that guy! :)

THE CELBRITY APPRENTICE 5/1/11: Shear Madness

Oh boy…Nene vs Star…Let’s go!

Nene REALLY went after Star right from the beginning.  Star telling Nene to be the PM…really got Nene going.  Altho Nene is so abusive verbally, gotta say…Star is VERY smart in how she handles herself.  She easily could’ve just screamed back at Nene…but no.  She backed away and avoided that type of confrontation.  Smart lady.

Talk about awkward…after all the confrontation, the ladies now had to work together.  Give them credit tho…they were able to “get past” the issues and work together.

John Rich had an AWESOME idea to call/bring back Niki Taylor to help Backbone.  A bunch of guys having a hair task…they already had a definite disadvantage.  The ladies must’ve been KICKING THEMSELVES after they found out about Niki helping the guys.

Wow…LaToya REALLY wasn’t happy about being fired.  Never saw someone plead to come back like that.  You KNEW Trump would do it.  Totally added to the drama.  Interesting how LaToya…without a doubt…will side with Nene over Star.  Considering how much Nene said about LaToya too…and attacked her as well.

The boardroom was as expected.  Basically Nene vs Star.  Hope didn’t have much of a chance.  She really was just too weak and luckily was able to slide under the radar up until now.  Once again, Star is very smart in situations like this.  While Nene goes for the jugular and just doesn’t hold back…basically attacking her…Star just sits there calmly and holds her ground withOUT attacking back to Nene in the same way.  Of COURSE you’d keep Nene and Star…and get rid of Hope.  Much better TV drama, plus Star & Nene really ARE much STRONGER players.  Hope wouldn’t stand a chance against either one.

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 4/24/11: Trump Hotel Collection

This week’s task was a bit tough because it had a much more personal connection to Trump himself…this was advertising the Trump Hotel Collection.

Wow, I’ve never heard so much NEGATIVE FEEDBACK about BOTH of the finished products of the teams.  Man.  Pretty sad really.  So even tho John Rich and the guys “WON,” it really WASN’T a win AT ALL.  But yet he lucked out and still got the $20,000.

It was nice to see Nene and LaToya kinda “bury the hatchet” when they had their little heart to heart talk during the task.  The really seemed to come to an understanding…altho in the boardroom, Nene did end up throwing LaToya under the bus anyway.  OBVIOUSLY Star is a stronger player than LaToya business-wise…but Star really needs to learn to take others’ feelings into consideration.  We all know Star HATES to lose, but you can win without TAKING OVER EVERYTHING.  LaToya tried her hardest to make a plea/fight for herself by explaining to Trump how Star just doesn’t listen to anyone, but…Trump had to do what he could to try to make the ladies’ team more of a force to be reckoned with.

Will LaToya gone help ASAP to a win next week?  Based on the preview…with Nene and Star going at it…sure doesn’t look like.  Guess we shall wait and see.

‘Til next week…

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 4/10/11: Australian Gold

Well, that was an interesting episode…the outcome wasn’t what I expected.

Considering how much less creative their concept was, I figured for SURE the ladies would lose.  Not to mention that LaToya didn’t seem like she did the best job as the PM.  The men on the other hand really were pretty creative…and they sure do a great job when it comes to the personal touch/interaction with the crowd/public.  But yeah…pirates and suntan lotion?  Huh?

I thought Mark McGrath did do a pretty good job leading his team.  He made decisions and delegated.  Once again Gary was a tough one to handle.  Did he really say “it makes me feel sexual” to the executives?  I should’ve watched that part again, but deleted it from my DVR before I could watch it back.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he did.  Although Gary definitely gets really involved and invested in everything he does, I don’t think he realizes what he’s saying/doing sometimes.  He’s TOO MUCH into it.

Nene and LaToya.  It’s funny how Nene can grumble like crazy about Star…but yet she still hasn’t had a full-blown confrontation with Star.  LaToya on the other hand…she sure went after her!  When Nene told LaToya that the only reason she’s “anybody” is because of her last name…and that she’s too old.  Wow.  You know Nene had an easier time going after LaToya since you know LaToya isn’t QUITE as headstrong as someone like Star.  She won’t fight back as much.

The boardroom was quite interesting.  Things weren’t looking good for Gary for majority of the time…then at the end the tables were turned and Mark got fired.  In actuality, Mark’s pirate theme really WAS the reason the team lost…the executives didn’t like it.  But on the other hand, Gary is so hard to work with that it definitely brings down the morale/effectiveness of the team.  I guess in the end Trump went with the task at hand.  Didn’t expect it.

Gary lucked out this week.  He’s gonna HAVE to be the PM next week…so those guys better rest up.  It’s gonna be SOME task…

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 4/3/11: The Art of the Deal

Wow.  WHAT an episode tonight.

I guess we’ll have to start with the MOST TALKED ABOUT confrontation (albeit one-sided) in apprentice history.  MEATLOAF vs GARY (click link below for the video):

Credit: NBC

The Celebrity Apprentice – Meat Loaf Melts Down – Video – NBC.com (the scene actually went on a bit longer, but you get the gist ;) )

OK, that was CRAZY!  I mean, Meatloaf’s had a problem with Gary pretty much from the beginning (as do most of his teammates), but this episode, Meatloaf just got pushed to the edge and lost it.  When Meatloaf accused Gary of stealing some of the art products that were his…MAN.  Meatloaf was SO WOUND UP, I seriously thought he was going to have a heart attack.  I believe Meat loaf has a history of having a bad temper/anger issues…but WOW.  That was SOME scene.  And there was Gary…just standing there and staring at Meatloaf.  I mean, obviously fighting/yelling back would NOT have solved anything in this case.  Glad John Rich separated the guys to let Meatloaf cool off.  Then after ALL that…looks like Gary DIDN’T steal the art supplies.  I mean, whether or not he stole them wasn’t really the point.  This was waiting to happen for a while now.  Meatloaf just found an excuse to let it all out.

I gotta say tho…Gary Busey is SOME CHARACTER.  The THINGS HE SAYS are just…ridiculous.  I know he supposedly is actually a really SMART guy…and based on some of his quotes, I can see it:

  • “A confrontation of DEATH…”
  • FORGIVE – Finding Ourselves Really Giving Individuals Valuable Energy”
  • “Meatloaf excelled to the level of dancing on a rainbow with no fear…and no doubt.”

Seriously, you CAN’T WRITE THIS STUFF.  It’s hilarious.  Gotta love Gary.  But one request?  Gary, can you at LEAST comb your hair? ;)

Poor Jose.  I sure hope his dad is okay…and I don’t think ANYONE can blame him for leaving the “game” early.  After all, family comes first.  For sure.  The show won’t be quite the same without him tho.  I do wonder if he WAS there, how much would he have been able to contribute (given his celebrity status and this being a fundraising task)?

The ladies…YAY!  Finally a win!  $1 MILLION?!  How AWESOME was that?!  Marlee as the PM was a great choice.  Glad she spoke up and overruled LaToya when they were deciding on PM.  Without Dionne, I do think the team is a stronger force, and this win definitely brought them together a bit more.  It’s funny tho.  Even tho Star tried to support and back up Nene after that heated Dionne exit, Nene is still CONSTANTLY harping/grumbling about Star and her contributions.

I still can’t believe that the ladies’ artwork didn’t get delivered until 5 MINUTES BEFORE the opening.  CRAZY!  And for them to have to set everything up in that short amount of time.  Guess that didn’t hurt them tho.  Altho I thought the men had better paintings/actual artwork, I thought the ladies had much better hats.

Wow, even WITH that $470,000 donation via John Rich’s “people,” the guys still lost.  MAN.  That sucks for them.  Altho seriously, during the whole gallery time, they kept announcing $5,000 donations.  That’s not THAT much per piece.  Whereas it seemed the ladies had many more BIGGER donations per piece.  Obviously they did…they basically doubled the amount the men raised.  AWESOME!  AND they won the “best hat” challenge too!  GREAT JOB!  Hats off to Marlee (pun intended ;) )!

Don’t think Richard had a CHANCE with this one.  John Rich basically laid it all out on the table at the beginning of this task…if you can’t raise money, you’re going down.  It’s funny how John Rich brought up more than once how Richard SHOULD have been able to at LEAST bring in a decent amount of money since he really IS a HUGE CELEBRITY.  Umm…YES, he’s a CELEBRITY and MOST people know who he is…but considering his REPUTATION and what he’s gone thru (going to JAIL and all), I doubt he’s at the top of most celebrities’ lists of friends they would LOVE to help out. :P

I’m glad when given the choice, Marlee & A.S.A.P. told Trump that he should STILL fire someone.  After all, IT’S ONLY BUSINESS.  They won fair and square, and at least John Rich still got to keep the money THEY raised for HIS charity.

Great episode this week.  Man, this show is SO ADDICTIVE.  It really is like a train wreck – it’s SO HORRIBLE but you JUST CAN’T LOOK AWAY. ;)

‘Til next week…

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 3/27/11: Episode 4 – Off The Hook

It’s ABOUT TIME!  The “legend” is gone!  Dionne’s time on the show has finally worn off.  And actually SHE was a bit part in getting herself fired.

I thought Nene did a pretty good job as the PM this week.  Obviously Dionne could’ve used a bit more “wrangling,” especially when she decided to leave the editing room early to “hit the hay.”  But on the other hand, WHO could REALLY supervise Dionne?!  She does what she wants.  I watched it back again, and Dionne did NOT ask Nene if she could leave.  She basically said “I’m going,” and Nene just DIDN’T SAY NO.  But you can’t MAKE a 70-yr old lady stay if she doesn’t want to…ESPECIALLY one as headstrong as Dionne.  I liked the ladies’ video.  It was very “lady like,” touching upon the family aspect and it had heart & emotion.  Very classy and traditional.

The guys on the other hand…why should we expect anything but outrageous?!  Lil’ Jon did do a good job at handling/managing all these monkeys he has on his team. ;)  Gary as the dad was quite hilarious.  JUST because he’s wearing a robe for the role doesn’t mean he HAS to be pretty much naked under there! :P  And Jose as as the gay fiance was even better.  It was actually pretty cute.  I thought their concept was a BIT too risky, but obviously it paid off.  I thought the panel would’ve thought their commercial wasn’t going to reach out to enough people/demographics, but like Lil’ Jon said, the company stressed “outside boundaries”…and that’s what they did.

I was sad that the women lost AGAIN, especially since in the end, I thought they made a good commercial and their presentation was good.  Guess riskiness does pay off.

Trump did NOT like that Dionne said she herself should be fired since everyone else was against her.  Altho they both felt they themselves should leave, Niki’s exit was commendable while Dionne’s came across as a quitter.  Rightly so, in my opinion.  Once Dionne felt attacked, she basically just made it like FINE…Screw you guys.  But yet even in the end, Dionne still stuck to her guns and called out Nene as she was leaving in the elevator.  Good riddance…Dionne can go off into the sunset and be her “legendary” self.  I think the team will be stronger without her.

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 3/20/11: Episode 3

Let’s go camping!  Probably not the easiest task for these celebrities…as Nene & Lil’ Jon would say…Umm, we DON’T camp. :)  And talk about the two most OPPOSITE PMs as you can get – Gary Busey & Niki Taylor.

What can I say about Gary?  Man, the guy is SO WEIRD.  But yet he does have his wits about him, to a certain extent.  When he was spewing off all those abbreviations – TEAM:  Together Everyone Achieves More.  HOW DOES HE DO THAT?!  Crazy.  I was a bit annoyed because considering HOW MUCH the guys’ team SLACKED OFF…especially when Gary & Jose were just admiring the city and all the fans…then they started playing baseball catch with each other?!  And yet they STILL won the task?  WTH?!

And I was really bothered by Jose. YES he didn’t like the choice of RVs…and YES he didn’t like the whole country song angle of John Rich…but TOO BAD.  He’s SO not a team player.  He was being all pouty and stuff at the beginning when he didn’t like their choice in RVs.  Umm, but that’s what your team picked.  DEAL WITH IT.  When he was just sitting around doing NOTHING looking so bored.  It irked me A LOT.  You gotta just SUCK IT UP and help your team.  To me, that’s so diva.  Gimme a break.

As for the women’s team, not that she wasn’t before, but Dionne is REALLY starting to irritate me.  She NEVER seems to be supportive at ALL.  She TAKES HER GOSH DARN TIME with EVERYTHING she does.  The way she talks to people too.  Ugh.  I’m still waiting for her to be the PM and have to deal with all these ladies’ attitudes.  Right now she can just be difficult but it won’t necessarily get her fired because she’s not the leader.  She can always blame the PM.  Let’s see her step up to the plate and lead…

Niki.  Aww.  She was my favorite.  And she left the show with her head held high.  You could tell from the moment she volunteered to be the PM, she wasn’t going to be tough enough.  She’s just a really NICE person.  She did come up with ideas and all, but she definitely isn’t the strongest.  The ladies all did what they could to support her tho.  I was actually really impressed with how much praise Star gave Niki tho.  I figured she would side with Dionne a bit more.  I guess in a way Niki is hard to hate because she really don’t antagonize like others do.

In my opinion, Niki’s exit was so classy.  I mean…they lost…she was the leader/boss…she took responsibility and didn’t throw anyone under the bus (even tho she TOTALLY could have).  It was very respectable.  I know people were saying she should’ve fought more…if not for herself, for her charity.  Which is true.  But she already did get the $35,000 from the first task, so I think she felt she did enough.  And at least she left with her integrity, knowing she didn’t maliciously go after others.

*OBSERVATION* – Did you notice after Niki got fired and took her walk to the limo outside of Trump Tower…that her hair was down (and not frizzy anymore)?  THEN when they did the short exit interview in the limo after it drove away, her hair was back UP and frizzy again?!  Umm…hello?  That means they obviously shot her walk to the limo at another time than when she was actually fired.  Weird.

CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 2011: Episode 2

Credit: zap2it.com

Well, what can I say?  Lisa Rinna had NO CHANCE tonight.  NO CHANCE.  Already from the first episode I had an issue with Lisa.  She was WEAK and she was very two-faced…she was so good at talking bad about people and their ideas behind their backs…but never to their face.  Now this week she was “FORCED” into being the women’s project manager.  FORCED?  Come on.  You always have a choice.  Altho in her defense, a LOT of those ladies (especially Star & Dionne) are SO TOUGH that it’s hard to go against them.  As Lisa found out in this episode…

We could tell last week that Star obviously is tough.  I mean, she’s been tough ever since we’ve seen her on TV at all back when she was on The View.  Not to mention she’s a lawyer.  This episode was no different.  She and Lisa did NOT (nor have they ever) get along.  Lisa obviously needed to be more tough, and Star totally took advantage of that.  Star pretty much would go against practically everything Lisa said, she would make like she’s supporting Lisa, but really she was trying to take control without really taking control.  Then that way she could blame Lisa if it didn’t work out in the end (which it didn’t).  Like when she didn’t want to have the final approval with the book.

Now Dionne…Last week we saw she was a “tough cookie” as well (with her resistance at the cash register and moving FASTER)…but THIS WEEK…Woah.  Can you say DIVA?  First she gets into it with Marlee, who btw is ANOTHER STRONG personality.  Marlee’s been fighting and proving herself her whole life because of her disability, so she was not about to let Dionne walk all over her when it came to the theme of the children’s book.  Then Dionne and Lisa got into it too later in the episode.  Dionne doesn’t take no guff, that’s for sure.  She kinda seems sorta soft-spoken when you see her just sitting there…and even the way she carries herself.  But…umm…NO.  Not at ALL.  You gotta watch out for her.

I cannot BELIEVE that Star & Dionne wanted their names on the book cover.  I mean…seriously?!  Yes, they MAY have come up with the theme and wrote the story, but…this IS a team effort.  Every week there are going to be people who come up with the idea/contribute significantly, but…as TEAM members you KNOW that it is a TEAM effort and the result is the TEAM’S.  Talk about divas.  It was ridiculous.

But surprisingly, with all of their battles and drama, I did think the final product and performance of their children’s book went off really well.  The ladies were all able to suck it up and pull it together.  It was quite an entertaining performance, I must say.  Too bad it didn’t end with positive results.  That probably would’ve helped their team morale.

Although Lisa was NOT my most favorite contestant, I did feel for her a little bit in the boardroom.  The entire team…but mainly Star & Dionne…were totally throwing her under the bus.  And they were doing that from the moment they “convinced” Lisa to be PM.  You could tell that Lisa was not tough enough to stand her ground…and those two divas were just killing her in the boardroom.  At least Star has a PM win to back herself up…now Dionne…if/when she becomes PM, it should be very interesting.  Does she really think she can do a better job?!  She is a TOUGH personality, and I don’t think all those ladies (especially Marlee) will just sit back and let her push them around.  We shall see…

Not much to say about the guys except that it was funny to see Jose dressed up as a woman…and very touching to see Meatloaf so emotional.  Totally didn’t expect that.  Cute to see that he wears his heart on his sleeve like that.  Kinda sucks that altho he worked just as hard as Star did for the win, he only gets $20,000 (plus profits from the book) for his charity while Star won close to $170,000 for her charity.  Just gotta be lucky with the tasks you PM…

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 3/6/11: Season Premiere

Well, another season of The Celebrity Apprentice has begun…and DRAMATIC is probably the understatement of the season with this cast:

There are some DOOZIES in this season’s cast, lemme tell you:

GARY BUSEY:  Man, this guy is CRAZY!  And that’s being nice.  For one thing, I guess now that he’s lost a lot of weight, he looks kinda creepy already.  This first episode he was the “pepperoni profit” man…the one standing outside the pizza parlor trying to get people to come in and buy some pizza.  Umm…if I saw that man trying to persuade me to come in to buy pizza, I don’t know if I’d do it…CREEPY!  He’s QUITE the character tho.  Sure makes for good TV. :)

STAR JONES:  Star made SUCH an impression with all her drama on The View…we haven’t really seen too much of her lately, but…we ALL KNOW she’s QUITE the diva.  She was the project manager tonight, and you can see she’s a very controlling person and has a strong personality.  So far, not TOO bad, but…I KNOW that inner diva will definitely become more apparent as the weeks go on.

LISA RINNA:  Lisa has never been my favorite person…and tonight just verified that.  She’s quite the two-face.  She grumbles left and right about Star’s decisions, delegations…but not ONCE did she tell her to her face (except during the boardroom when she was forced to by Donald Trump).  Ugh.  I can tell she won’t be her team’s favorite either.  Not based on the preview for next week.

RICHARD HATCH:  It’s been a long time since the first season of Survivor, but there’s a REASON this guy won.  Not only is he DEVIOUS and CUTTHROAT…but he’s as ARROGANT as you can get.  The way he talked when Ivanka came to check on the guys at the pizza parlor.  COCKY MUCH?  The guy is ridiculous.  The way he was picking on David Cassidy…then lying about how he WASN’T trying to be disrespectful.  GIMME A BREAK.  BUT I’ll give him one thing…his arrogance actually saved him tonight.  At least by being arrogant, he’s confidence in HIMSELF…unlike David Cassidy.

$115,000 vs $54,000?!  What a BLOWOUT!  Crazy!  The ladies even lost out on $35,000 and they still beat the guys by double!  Man!  Gotta say, I figured the ladies would win…but I was impressed at by HOW MUCH.  Not bad.  Guess they at least have a lot of connections/persuasive skills. ;)

David was the right choice to boot out this week.  He’s totally TOO WEAK for this show.  I mean…just think if he stayed and was the next project manager?!  He wouldn’t be able to manage all those guys.  No way.

This is going to be SOME SEASON…and I’m looking forward to it!  :)

RATINGS: LOST “Trumps” Celebrity Apprentice

Not a big surprise to anyone, LOST was the big winner in the ratings last night.  The series finale drew 13.5 million viewers…

…while the Celebrity Apprentice drew a very decent 9.3 million viewers (which was actually up 10% from last season’s finale) to see Bret Michaels beat Holly Robinson Peete as the winner.  I do have to say I was rooting for Bret.  He came a long way from the first episode…don’t think many people thought he would make it to the finale, much less WIN.  Altho she was VERY passionate about her cause, Holly was just too much for me.

Funny enough, I watched The Celebrity Apprentice last night. :)   Figured I didn’t want to find out the winner in the news before watching it myself.  So I will be watching the LOST finale tonight.

NO SPOILERS please! :)

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 3/14/10: Season Premiere

Well…another season of The Celebrity Apprentice begins…this seems like it’s gonna be an interesting season:

As usual, they’ve teamed the women vs. the men…just some random thoughts:

  • CYNDI LAUPER:  Wow…she’s something!  She’s TOTALLY spacey!  All the time!  But yet on the other hand…she seems like a good person…very compassionate…the other ladies in general seem to like her.
  • BRETT MICHAELS:  Hmm…he’s an interesting one.  He’s definitely driven.  He better watch out tho…for his diabetes…
  • It was cool to see Joan Rivers!  I loved her on last season’s apprentice…all of this season’s contestants seemed quite impressed to see her as well!
  • I was really surprised that the guys won by THAT MUCH.  Considering how much their menu items were…I mean, SO MANY people were walking out of the diner!  And actually…their win was mostly made up of TIPS, not the actual menu items.
  • I liked that Cyndi was singing in the diner…that was pretty cool!  She sounded good too!

Don’t really have any real favorites yet…right now I’m thinking this season won’t be NEARLY as good as last season (I mean, the rivalry between Joan Rivers and Annie Duke was AWESOME TV!)…but it’s only bee ONE episode so far…so you never know…we shall see!

Omarosa…A Minister?!

According to Us Weekly, former Apprentice contestant Omarosa has decided she has a new calling…a MINISTER?!

The article says that Omarosa has entered an Ohio seminary, with plans of pursuing a doctor of ministry degree.  SERIOUSLY?!  OMAROSA?!  This is the SAME woman who was the most hated contestant on The Apprentice?  The one who whined and complained when a small piece of ceiling hit her on the head during a challenge?

This is pretty crazy…Who would EVER go to her for guidance or advice about their life?!

The Celebrity Apprentice Finale 5/10/09

So we have finally come down to the knockdown fight:  JOAN RIVERS vs. ANNIE DUKE…$250,000 for their charity!  LET’S GO!

TEAM PICKING:

  • JOAN’S TEAM:  Hershel, Clint (she’s worked with him enuf…she knows how to deal with him/how he works), Melissa (SMART STRATEGY Joan…We all know that Annie would NEVER PICK Melissa, so she didn’t waste her first choice on her own daughter).
  • ANNIE’S TEAM:  Sure seems like Annie got the short end of the stick here…Brande (why am I not surprised?!  Her best ally!), Dennis (?!  And she PICKED Dennis on her own…?), Tom (I do have to say, Tom CAN be irritating, but he does work hard).  Well, Annie needs to have things her way…So we’ll see if these team members are right for her…

THE TASK:

  • Wow, so Dennis came thru?  At least for now…$20,000 in one pop?!  Not bad.
  • Tom…As usual…Talking A BIT too much.  He’s a rambler.  Annie had to cut him off.  Kinda rude, but not surprising.
  • Geez…Clint is checking out already?!  He doesn’t wanna do anything!
  • Tom & Dennis…Calling Annie when they’re standing right behind her…Awesome!  ROFL!  I don’t blame them…As usual, Annie wants to control EVERYTHING and doesn’t listen to them.  How else are they going to kill time/amuse themselves?!
  • Herschel’s idea to have his friend buy the tix and they gave them away!  Awesome!  Go Herschel!
  • What’s with these event planners?!  Oh geez…Because Joan didn’t get along with hers, they don’t want to help either of them!  I don’t blame Joan for it tho…He SUCKED!  Funny ’cause Joan screwed Annie without even knowing it! Ha!
  • Amazing how both teams had people who came thru for them…Pretty awesome actually.
  • Loved Melissa’s photo idea…The “sharing” idea…Cute!
  • Tom & Annie aren’t getting along…Wonder why.
  • OMG…Tooo much Clint on those picture frames!  TOO MUCH!  I can’t see Clint on EVERY frame…
  • The celebrity impersonators are pretty cool! Love that they had a Joan Rivers one! :-)
  • Loved Joan’s room…It was really Kodak-ish!  Really awesome!
  • Annie:  I need, I need, I need…Shut Up already!  Her room…Kind of depressing!  Too much “refugee” stuff…

THE BOARDROOM:

  • Joan:  “Annie, all your money is all mafia money…”  HA!
  • Dennis:  “I’m just loving it…”  So am I Dennis!
  • Joan raised $150,000 for her charity…Pretty good considering.
  • $465,000 Annie raised for charity…God.  I’m not really surprised.  The task ISN’T only about money tho…

THE LIVE FINALE BOARDROOM:

  • Could Brande beat Annie?!  PLEASE!  Of course not!  And Brande knows it…That’s why she didn’t answer the question.
  • The 2 charities…They’re both great causes, but…Somehow, Joan’s charity is much “dearer”…So personal and emotional…She’s been helping them for SO long, and it means so much to her.  Can’t quite beat that.  Annie’s one just isn’t as emotional.  It’s hard tho…They’re definitely both worthy causes.
  • Trace:  I’m not surprised…He’s a pretty stand-up guy, and I wouldn’t think he would appreciate/condone what things Annie has done…
  • Piers:  He brought up good points.  There were 5 criteria.  Joan won 3, Annie only won 2.  That says it all…

THE WINNER!

  • JOAN VICTORIOUS!  Yay!  Donald HAD to go with Joan…Almost everyone he asked said Joan…Annie basicall only raised more money.  That was all that was WORTHY of what she did.  Thank god.  That was a LONG finale, but worth it to see JOAN DEFEAT ANNIE!  AWESOME!  She totally deserved it!

The Celebrity Apprentice: 5/3/09

YES!  Joan is back!  I knew she would be!  She can’t give Brande & Annie the satisfaction of winning…ALRIGHT!  The game is back on!  Wow, this task sure seems to be made for KOTU…A jingle?  Can you say Clint?  A commercial?  Can you say Joan?

  • Brande!  SRAP?!  Seriously?!  You’re not giving blondes a stronger argument here…
  • “It sucks being tone-deaf…It’s really not fair.”  Brande, you’re sure shelling some good ones tonight…Hilarious!
  • Brande & Annie suck at singing…Man.  For once, Annie can’t just DO SOMETHING like nothing.  It’s a tough one for her…She’s not totally in control.  Loving it…:-)
  • Hmm…Clint’s jingle.  A bit lazy…Could’ve used more oomph…A bit zippier maybe?
  • Jesse had a really good voice for the commercial.  Brande did too, actually.
  • Athena’s jingle actually SOUNDS more what I would think a jingle would sound like.  Annie SURE was proud of what they did.  A bit TOO proud.
  • Both teams did a pretty good job with the presentations.
  • That was a tough decision…But the reasoning the executives gave made a lot of sense.
  • OK Annie…Don’t need to RUB IT IN…Yes yes…You beat Clint Black in a song writing task.  Yay for you.  Ugh.  In a way, better Annie and Brande had no experience in music…Clint was OBVIOUSLY going to go the country route.
  • The boardroom couldn’t go any other way.  The executives didn’t like the country route…Clint.  He’s lost before in another task…Clint.  Should’ve been a zippier jingle, but the project manager didn’t want it…Clint.  He was lucky he lasted this long!  I do think he progressed a little from the beginning…But still had a really hard time listening to others’ ideas.  It was his undoing, imo.
  • Oh man…2 more firings tonight!  Didn’t expect that one!  Geez, Piers has a tough decision here…Let’s hope it turns out the way it’s supposed to…Can’t see it turning out any other way…
  • Brande fired.  Good job.  One down…
  • Jesse fired.  That’s the way to do it…2nd one down.
  • JOAN VS. ANNIE!  This is the finale we have all been waiting for…BRING IT ON!  It’s gonna be SOME cat fight!  Can’t wait! :-)   Go Joan! Put the poker player in her place!

Who will be the next Celebrity Apprentice: Joan or Annie? Bring it on!

Who will be the next Celebrity Apprentice: Joan or Annie? Can't wait to find out...

The Celebrity Apprentice: 4/26/09

The Top 6…Here we go…

  • Jesse moved to KOTU.  Why not Brande?  Probably because they wanted to have to make Melissa suffer being with “best pals” Annie & Brande…Plus Jesse doesn’t like Clint very much, which will cause some nice friction on KOTU’s side.
  • Brande is kinda dumb.  When Melissa confronted her about she & Annie ganging up on her, which btw I’m glad Melissa did, Brande is so naive…She doesn’t even realize what’s happening.  When Brande said she never said anything bad about Melissa to Annie, I do believe that’s true.  Brande just doesn’t realize what Annie is doing…
  • Jesse vs. Clint.  Oh boy.  It’s a hard one because 1) Jesse didn’t say much ’til the end. 2) Clint really doesn’t listen and take other people ideas into consideration.  3) Jesse is a bit much because he didn’t really say much but once he did, he had already checked out.  My personal opinion is I don’t like Clint…Haven’t for how many weeks now!  Jesse went down a little this week ’cause he wasn’t a team player.
  • Annie is some player.  I emphasize player.  She’s really good at doing EVERYTHING so that she can take the credit if they win, but yet can somehow put the negative on others if they lose.

On to the boardroom:

  • Even Trump doesn’t understand what Clint was saying…:-)
  • Sexual chemistry between Jesse and Joan…Funny stuff!
  • Joan has a good strategy…Even tho she doesn’t agree with his ideas, she tries to just work with what is given.  It seems to help the situation.
  • Brande not looking good here…She delegated all the important tasks to Annie.
  • Annie says she can beat Melissa more than she could beat Brande…Really?
  • Wow…After seeing the other teams’ layout, Jesse actually liked their own layout better.  That’s amazing.
  • Oh god…Clint actually won the task.  Talk about giving him an even BIGGER ego than he already had…Ugh!
  • Ooo…Brande…Playing the Ivanka card.  Sucking up to her…Smart move.
  • What was on that note that Trump gave Jim Kramer?!  ‘Cause up until then, it was definitely leaning towards Brande getting firest, then once that note came into play, things all of a sudden turned to Melissa.  Never saw Trump do something like that before…
  • Brande stepped up?!  Really?  She is totally being played!  She has no idea what Annie is doing…She’s playing right into Annie’s plan.  HELLO!  Deep down I think Brande really is a nice girl, but she really has to wise up a little…When you’re playing with a 2-faced player like Annie…Get smart Brande!
  • Wow.  Melissa out.  Talk about dramatic.  I was kind of confused as to what Melissa was doing after she got fired.  Why did she go back up to the suite?  My guess is that normally when they get fired, they walk out to the taxi and it drives off…But then they normally have to come back to pick up their stuff & do their exit interview.  Melissa just wanted to get her stuff and go without having to do any of the other stuff.
  • Joan walks out.  Did she really?!  SHE BETTER COME BACK!  I can’t have Brande & Annie being the last 2 women there…I can’t believe Melissa didn’t make Joan stay!  Come on Joan!  You need to come back so you can PUT THOSE ”HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS” IN THEIR PLACE!
