Here’s an interview Adele did with 60 Minutes’ Anderson Cooper (this was taped before the Grammys last night).
She talks about her rise to fame, her throat surgery, and her new boyfriend.
It’s a great interview!
Enjoy!

The Belle of the Ball tonight at the Grammy Awards was without a doubt ADELE!
First of all, she looked GORGEOUS on the red carpet:
Then she sounded quite awesome during her much-anticipated performance — her first live performance since her throat surgery last year — singing her now award-winning single Rolling in the Deep!
And finally she won EVERY SINGLE AWARD she was nominated for, including the highly coveted ALBUM OF THE YEAR!
Album of the Year – Adele, 21
Record of the Year – Adele, “Rolling in the Deep”
Song of the Year – Adele, “Rolling in the Deep”
Best Pop Solo Performance – Adele, “Someone Like You”
Best Pop Vocal Album – Adele, 21
Best Short Form Music Video – Adele, “Rolling in the Deep”
But seriously…it shouldn’t have happened ANY OTHER WAY. She is SO DESERVING. That album, 21, is my favorite album of 2011…It’s just AMAZING.
Woohoo!
Here’s a sneak peek at one of the musical numbers from this coming Tuesday’s new episode entitled “Mash-Off.”
The Troubletones perform a mash-up of Adele’s Rumour Has It & Someone Like You. Umm…awesome songs! This performance also marks Glee‘s 300th musical performance on the show! Woohoo!
As for the mash-up, lemme just say one word — PERFECTION. This mash-up is AMAZING. Obviously, you can’t compare to Adele, but because this mash-up makes the songs sound different, it’s like they’re totally different songs. Awesome! LOVE it.
Enjoy!
Here is the official music video for Adele’s current single, Someone Like You.
LOVING the black & white…and she looks so pretty! How she looks directly at the camera at times, and the way the camera shoots, going around in a circle panning the whole scene…very cool.
I just love how all of her videos are so understated, yet so powerful.
AWESOME. LOVE HER!
Enjoy!
Last Adele post for today.
This was a great interview because it’s just her talking…and she talks about her album, her ex-boyfriend (who her album 21 is all about) and having to quit smoking. Good stuff.
Enjoy!
This is compilation someone put together of the “best interview bits” of Adele. Some PRETTY FUNNY STUFF here…
Enjoy!
Let’s keep this Adele thing rolling…
Here’s another old interview I found of Adele on Chelsea Lately back in February. She’s so funny! Gotta love her!
Enjoy!
Can you tell what (or should I say WHO) is my current obsession?!
I’ve been catching up on old(er) performances of Adele. This one on The Late Show with David Letterman, where she performed Rolling in the Deep? One word: AWESOME.
Seriously…SHE IS AMAZING.
Enjoy!
Adele was recently a guest on The Jonathan Ross Show (British talk show).
It’s fun to watch her do an interview…When she sings she’s so into the song that you don’t get to see that other side to her personality. She’s pretty funny…! She also performs her song Turning Tables, even tho she was a bit under the weather. She still sounded great!
Love her!
Enjoy!
I don’t always watch the MTV Video Music Awards show every year, but this year I thought I’d watch to see the performances. And BOY AM I GLAD I DID!
The #1 reason to watch it? Adele’s performance of her single “Someone Like You.” If you’ve NEVER seen Adele perform before, you MUST WATCH. She is…PERFECTION. Seriously. She’s becoming one of my favorite artists. She sings with SUCH emotion…and the tone of her voice is just so amazing. And her album, 21, is AWESOME.
Enjoy!
Here’s a sneak peek of the performance by Rachel & Jesse of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep. Gotta say, this version is pretty interesting…never would’ve thought about acapella like this.
Only Lea Michele & Jonathan Groff could really pull off a version like this.
Are we happy to have Jesse back?
Remember that show Divas Live on VH1? They’ve had quite a few different installments of the benefit concert, but nothing compares to that original one back in 1998 that had Mariah, Celine, Shania, Gloria, Aretha…Those were the good ‘ole days, and that was an awesome show. Anyway, it’s been 4 years since the last installment of the show. This year’s “cast” consists of an interesting group of “divas”:
KELLY CLARKSON (“My Life Would Suck Without You”, “Since U Been Gone”)
LEONA LEWIS (“Bleeding Love”, “Better In Time”)
ADELE (“Chasing Pavements”)
MILEY CYRUS (“The Climb”, Hannah Montana)
According the press release, they’re the only ones that have been booked to perform…so far. I’m actually pretty excited for it, as I like all of these ladies (Miley Cyrus is just OK…but I like her enuf. :-p Plus, is she a DIVA?! I guess a teen diva :-p)! Maybe they’ll even do some duets with each other! They usually do at least ONE group number together…How exciting!
