Brothers & Sisters‘ Dave Annable (Justin) is engaged!

Dave is engaged to his girlfriend of over a year and a half, Odette Yustman.  No word on a wedding date yet.

Congrats to Dave!

Celebrity Sighting @ The Counter: 3/23/09

My friend Rena and I were having dinner at The Counter, the new burger place at Kahala Mall.  At some point towards the end of our dinner, I just happened to look around the restaurant to see how crowded it was.  For some reason, this guy on table right next to us caught my eye…Don’t know if it was his voice (which I could actually kinda hear among all the noise) or the way he was gesturing…Guess who it was?!

DAVE ANNABLE, aka “Justin Walker” on one of my favorite TV shows, Brothers & Sisters!  I couldn’t believe it! Looks pretty much exactly the same…just like Justin on the show!

BTW, he’s quite cute in person…:-)

 

 

 

 

 

BUT, not only did I see Dave…Shortly after, a woman came back to their table…

KATHARINE MCPHEE (She came in 2nd on American Idol, Season 5)!  Her husband was with her (that’s him to the right of her), which made me know for sure that was her. 

 

 

 

 

 I was thinking…WHY ARE THEY BOTH HERE IN HAWAII?!  Then I remembered that I had just read they’re filiming a movie, You May Not Kiss The Bride, here on Oahu!  What are the chances that they would be at the same restaurant as me on a Monday night?!  Meant to be! 

I didn’t go up to them…Too awkward.  But Rena and I actually hung around 15 min longer than we would have so that we could try to take some pics with our cell phones. I know, I know…A bit stalkerish, but…Come on!  Gotta try!

So even tho I didn’t get any autographs or pics with them, it was a pretty awesome experience!  Especially in Hawaii, when do you get to see celebrities just “around town”?! 

Rena, thank god you had a dinner on Tuesday night and we had to change to Monday…Otherwise we totally would’ve missed out on this! :-)  Thank you also for the pics!  You had a much better angle than I did…They came out great!
