CARRIE UNDERWOOD: Guess The Animal (Ellen Show 05-09-12)

Carrie Underwood was a guest on Ellen today, and she played a game with her!

They each had to act out/make the sounds of animals and the other had to guess. It was so fun to see Carrie playing a game like that…and Ellen totally messed with her by pretending not to know what animal she was imitating, just so that Carrie had to act it out longer. LOL!  Fun!

SOFIA VERGARA & ELLEN: CoverGirls! 1/16/12

Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara is always HILARIOUS when she visits Ellen….and this was no exception!

Sofia & Ellen, who are both CoverGirl spokeswomen, did a little “demonstration” of some of CoverGirl’s products…with Ellen being Sofia’s “hands.”

One word: HILARIOUS. MUST-WATCH!

Like Dennis Quaid, Kristin Chenoweth & Paris Hilton before her, Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara is the next celebrity that Ellen had do a hidden camera prank.

Sofia went into a Warner Bros store on set and she had to say everything Ellen told her to say thru an earpiece.

HILARIOUS. Sofia was awesome.  And her accent just makes it ALL the more funny.

He’s really cute…very energtic!   The song he “just wrote” for Ellen about Finding Nemo 2 was ADORABLE!  A must-watch!

Matthew Morrison was on Ellen earlier this week.  It was a cute interview…Ellen embarrassed Matthew by showing a picture of him in only boxer briefs for a Broadway fundraiser he participated in a while back.  Umm…let’s just say…NICE.   And proves what a waste it is that Mr. Schue always wears such “covered up” clothes…Ha!

VIDEO: Tenley on Ellen Show 3/3/10

Tenley was a guest on the Ellen Degeneres Show today. It was a pretty short interview, and Tenley is as cute and sweet as always.

What’s funny is that her voice doesn’t sound as high as when she was on the show. It’s interesting too because she talks about how she never got to show Jake more of her “fun side” because she was really trying to establish the deeper emotional connection FIRST. Which is what you would THINK he should’ve wanted BEFORE the whole passionate, physical connection. Guess not. :-p

Tenley on Dancing with the Stars?! How cool would that be if she was competing AGAINST Jake?! TPTB – Make it happen!

VIDEO: Ellen Talks Idol 2/25/10

One of the best things about having Ellen DeGeneres on as an American Idol judge is the fact that she can give us a behind the scenes look at the show.  She can tell us stuff about what goes on…pretty cool!

As far as what she talks about…it’s NICE TO KNOW that what the judges hear IN the studio is VERY DIFFERENT than what WE hear on TV!  I FIGURED it’s gotta be…with all the music and noise drowning out stuff…TV allows you to hear ALL the little pitchy moments/it’s way more exposed.  ‘Cause sometimes…can’t imagine WHY the judges think someone’s good while we all think they sucked!  At least Ellen admitted that to everyone.

Sofia Vergara (Gloria) made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show…it was quite entertaining!  She’s super funny, and that’s REALLY her accent!   It’s a two-part interview, including a part where Ellen actually even calls up some Columbian office/department…Funny stuff!

VIDEO: Dennis Quaid Goes Undercover for Ellen…AGAIN

Not sure if most of you saw a while back when Dennis Quaid was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where he went undercover at a Starbucks and had Ellen telling him what to say thru an earpiece…and all the workers/people at the Starbucks had NO IDEA!  It was HILARIOUS!

Anyway, Dennis was recruited AGAIN…this time he “pranked” a food delivery guy.  Still just as hilarious!  A MUST-WATCH!

THE BACHELOR: Fantasy Dates and…Ali the next Bachelorette? *UPDATED with Video

I have to say, Ali comes across pretty cute and likable in the video…very “normal”:

• On Ali’s “expectations” of Jake after leaving the show:  “One of the reasons it was okay for me to leave in the first place was because I thought, if this is love and he really cares about me then he is going to come and find me,” she told Ellen in a segment of her talk show set to air Tuesday. “He’s a pilot, like fly to get me. That would be amazing. I was pretty shocked. I thought we had something really great.” SERIOULSLY Ali?  Did you FORGET there were 3 OTHER GIRLS still around at that time?  You were THAT delusional to think that he only had eyes for you?!  Wow.
• Would she consider being the next Bachelorette?  “I don’t know.  That would be so nice. I would be so flattered.” Umm, I wouldn’t be too excited to see Ali as the next Bachelorette.  I think she would get a really big head about it…become even more annoying than she already got on The Bachelor.
  
• Who does Ali think/want to win Jake’s heart? “Watching actually the connection that Vienna and Jake have … I didn’t realize that was happening.  They look like a good couple. So, I actually think it could be Vienna. I want it to be Tenley.” At least she was able to admit that Vienna & Jake actually connected…sees like the animosity towards Vienna is gone.

Chris Harrison was interviewed about last night’s fantasy date episode:

• Ali told Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday that she’d consider being the next Bachelorette. What do you think about it?
  Harrison: She definitely has a shot. I think she would be a fantastic Bachelorette. I like women that have loved and lost, have learned a lesson, and you have Ali, obviously beautiful, a very down-to-earth, career-driven woman who learned a great lesson about love.
• Do you think Gia’s elimination this week was because she couldn’t tell Jake she was in love with him?
  Harrison: I do and, as silly as it sounds to say aloud, I know for a fact Jake was falling in love with all three of them. So there was a fine line in what was going to be the deciding factor and obviously Vienna completely gave herself and so did Tenley and then there was Gia who was always just fighting it. At that point, having been through this with everybody, they’re looking for anything — that one difference that can make that deciding factor.
• What did you think about Jake and Vienna discussing wedding rings?
  Harrison: Obviously viewers can absolutely read into that and it’s partly why we left it in because it is such a glaring, obvious thing, but Jake meant that as more of a joke. They were like, “What do you want to know?” and his smart-aleck response was the wedding ring. It was just too good not to leave it in. Interesting…so I guess Jake DIDN’T ask all the girls the ring question.  Odd how Chris said it was more like a joke.  Obviously it was to also stir up conversation and lead viewers a certain way as well.  When he was asking Vienna the ring questions, he sure didn’t seem like he was asking as a joke tho…Hmm…
• So how much of the fantasy suite time is really shown?
  Harrison: Very little. We shoot the dinner, when they get back there’s the dessert, and maybe they’ll sit in the hot tub for a second. Then we clear out. There’s no camera, no microphones, no nothing. We take all our equipment and we leave them and they are not seen until the next morning. If they choose to stay there, if they choose to stay up all night talking, they choose to leave and go back to their own room, it’s completely up to them; they can do whatever they want.  The only way we would ever know is if one of them said something. No one else is around to see or hear anything. The fantasy suites are always a big topic of conversation.  What REALLY happens in there?!  I guess even the show doesn’t know…only the 2 people do.  Hmm…
  

Adam Lambert on Ellen Show 12/1/09

Adam did an interview and performed his new single, Whataya Want from Me (Fun Fact:  Co-written by Pink) on the Ellen show today…

INTERVIEW:

PERFORMANCE (there were a couple of pitchy parts, but overall he sounded really great…especially on the verses):

I have to say…I still really do like Adam.  His interview was very good.  He still comes across as a very good guy…he admits his AMA performance went “a little too far.”  His attitude in the interview redeemed himself a bit in my eyes.  I still think his AMA performance was too much, but at least he’s able to recognize that and understands/respects people’s reaction to it.  Oh, and this performance was NOT at all RISQUE by any means.   He’s still got SUCH an awesome voice.  No matter what he does performance-wise…can’t argue about his voice.

BTW, his new album, For Your Entertainment, is REALLY GOOD!  There’s a great mix of stuff…even with all the electro stuff, Adam’s able to show off his amazing vocals on the album.

Kellie Pickler interview on Ellen

Most of you know Kellie Pickler…She came in 6th on the 5th season of American Idol (the one where Taylor Hicks won).  Her “angle” on the show was the ditzy, naive country bumpkin.  After Idol, she came out with two country albums, both of which did actually quite well.  She’s made a home in the country world, and the fans are embracing her.  Both her albums are actually pretty good, for what they are.  Can’t compare to Carrie Underwood , but they’re not bad. 

Anyway, if you’ve never seen her do an interview before, you need to watch one she did on the Ellen Degeneres Show last week.  It was HILARIOUS!  She told a story about being pulled over in L.A. by the police.  When she says certain things, you kinda think…Come on, she’s just playing up the whole ditz thing…But I actually kinda think that’s just her.  She just says whatever.  It’s a MUST-WATCH.

 

I actually think she should stick to interviews/interviewing.  She may be ditzy, but it’s SO ENTERTAINING to watch!
