Not sure if you heard, but Macy’s has just released an official line of Glee clothing…
In honor of the launch of the clothing line, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz and Heather Morris signed autographs at the Macy’s in Beverly Hills:
When I first heard about the clothing line, I thought it was going to be clothes inspired by the CHARACTERS on Glee, but it looks like it’s just official Glee branding type stuff. Which is okay too.
What were the Glee actors doing before they were famous?
“I worked at a Bat Mitzvah dress shop in New Jersey”
“I was a singing waiter at an Italian restaurant. I would serve food and then I’d break into a little Italian song and then I would go back into the kitchen and race lobsters with the chefs.”
“I was in a music video. I forgot the artist, it was like David Guetta… I was painted like a fish.”
“I worked at IKEA and it wasn’t a crazy job, I actually liked it.”
“I was a cookie scooper in the cafeteria in the mornings before high school. I worked summers at my cousin’s dry cleaners.”
“I was in a boy band, it was called NLT… definitely no longer exists.”
“Before I was on “Glee,” I was a taxi driver and I was the Walmart people greeter. That was a crazy job too. ‘Hi, welcome to Walmart’."
“I worked at a bagel shop.”
“I worked at Hooters. Trashy right?”
Interesting huh? Especially Naya’s. Umm…seems about right tho doesn’t it? Ha! Actually, in all seriousness, I wouldn’t have guessed that about her.
Only a week after their Golden Globe win, Glee was nominated AGAIN for Best Ensemble on a Comedy Series at the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards, which aired tonight.
Altho the SAG Awards aren’t as highly publicized…and the show airs on cable, supposedly these awards are the MOST cherished by the actors because the awards are voted on BY THE ACTORS themselves. Anyone who’s part of the Screen Actors Guild gets a vote…which is basically ALL ACTORS…so it’s like getting an award from your peers.
As usual, the ladies of Glee showed off a wide variety of fashions on the red carpet:

I think most of you Gleeks know that before Glee, Amber Riley (Mercedes) had previously auditioned for American Idol, but didn’t make it.
Now it’s revealed that Heather Morris (Brittany) was another rejectee of a 19 entertainment show, So You Think You Can Dance. I actually watched all the seasons of Dance, and now watching the clip, I kinda remember her:
She tried out a few seasons ago but got let go during Las Vegas (SYTYCD’s version of “Hollywood Week”) week, right before the Top 20 round.
Well, I’m sure neither Heather nor Amber are TOO torn up about not making it. After all…they’re both on like THE hottest show right now!
