I know with guys, it’s hard to really judge since they basically all look the same.  Glad this year the guys all stayed pretty classic overall.  That’s the best look for guys…classic & clean. :)

GLEE 12/13/11: 3.09 “Extraordinary Merry Christmas”

After last season’s Christmas episode was actually pretty sad, this season we had a much lighter and happier episode!

  • Lots of singing in this episode!  I will say tho that the songs this time around weren’t quite as good as last year’s…but then again there are only so many Christmas songs to choose from. ;)
  • Lea Michele’s River — So beautiful!  Yes it’s a sad song, but…her voice makes everything sound so good! :)   Plus after last week of her BARELY singing, it’s so great to have her back! :)
  • Extraordinary Merry Christmas — Lea Michele & Darren Criss singing a duet?!  Can’t get better than that!  More please!
  • Umm, the Glee Christmas TV special they did?!  AWESOME.  I LOVED IT.  It was hilarious!  Loved the black & white too!  Brought me back to those “good ole” shows.  Standouts?  Gotta be Chris Colfer & Lea Michele.  They both were amazing…they got that whole cheesy format down pat! ;)   Altho Darren & Amber did great as well.
  • Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town — Hmm…On the Christmas CD, The Glee Project’s Samuel sings this number with Cory & Mark.  I guess it wasn’t his time to be on the show yet, so they cut him out.  Not that I’m complaining.  I was fine with it just being the two guys. ;)   Oh, and the whole Star Wars thing (with Chewbacca!) was hilarious!!!
  • Sam & Quinn weren’t in the tv special!  Sam was pretty cute with Rory in this episode tho.  Still not the biggest fan of Rory…don’t really feel like he contributes much at all.  Even tho I liked Damian back on TGP, honestly could totally do without him. :-P
  • Wow, Sue volunteering at a homeless shelter?  Interesting.  Very sweet how the Gleeks all surprised her at the end and came to help out/sing.  Really love their version of Don’t They Know It’s Christmas.
  • As usual, Rachel started out being a bit self-centered by asking Finn for all those expensive gifts…but she always redeems herself in the end.  Finn’s gift of the pig was…LOL!  Totally wrong gift to give…especially since Rachel’s a vegetarian!  Not to mention it was…A PIG!  Hello?  But his gift of the STAR was…SO SWEET.
  • Matthew Morrison directed this episode…his first!  Great job!

GLEE CAST: Happy Halloween! + *POLL*

Here are a bunch of the Glee cast members in their Halloween costumes:

Naya Rivera

Chris Colfer

Matthew Morrison

Jenna Ushkowitz (with TVD's Michael Trevino)

Darren Criss

MATTHEW MORRISON: Jonah Hill Response (Jimmy Fallon)

I posted a few days ago about when Jonah Hill was a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and told a story about Matthew Morrison making fun of him at a party, etc.

Well, looks like Matthew has a response! They videotaped a message from Matthew to Jonah on Jimmy’s show:

I’m guessing the next step is to have them BOTH on Jimmy’s show together…Let’s make that happen! :)

JONAH HILL VS MATTHEW MORRISON: Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Jonah Hill was a guest on Jimmy Fallon the other night, and tells this story (or actually 2 stories) about a couple of encounters with Glee’s Matthew Morrison. Jonah actually “calls Matthew out” at the end too.

I can’t tell if the story is true or not…?

See what you think…

GLEE: Say What?! (Bloopers)

Here’s a reel of some bloopers from Glee cast interviews. Very cute.

Enjoy!

GLEE CAST: FOX Upfronts 5/16/11

Some of the Glee cast attended the FOX Upfronts today:

What’s up with the glasses thing?  Is that in right now?  Considering both Cory AND Chord are wearing them…but they do look good on both of them!  And I said it before, but I’m loving Chord’s new look!

GLEE CAST: Wango Tango 5/14/11

A few of the Glee cast showed up at the annual Wango Tango concert over the weekend. Ashley Fink, Harry Shum Jr, Chord Overstreet & Max Adler all attended to support Matthew Morrison, who performed.

I am LOVE LOVE LOVING Chord’s new look. I was JUST saying that he NEEDS to cut his hair…this is way better! Makes him look older. QUITE attractive, imo. ;)

GLEE: Matthew Morrison – “Still Got Tonight” in Finale!

The Hollywood Reporter has announced today that during Glee‘s season finale, Matthew Morrison will be singing one of his songs from his new album (which is out tomorrow, btw)!

Will Schuester will be singing Still Got Tonight (which is actually a FREE download on iTunes right now!) during the episode.

Murphy told THR that he discussed featuring Morrison’s song with 20th Century Fox Television chairman Dana Walden, who agreed to use a track from the actor’s upcoming album if it worked for his character, who has always been a dreamer.

Can you say PROMOTION?!  Pretty cool for Matthew!

GLEE: Academy Screening/Q&A – May 4, 2011

Pretty much the entire Glee cast attended an Academy screening of Glee along with a Q&A session in Hollywood yesterday:

GLEE: MET Gala 5/2/11 + *POLL*

A few of the Gleeks attended the annual MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art) Gala in NYC tonight.  This is the event where a lot of celebrities (especially the ladies) dress pretty wild & funky…which I guess is supposed to be “artsy.”  The Gleeks were pretty tasteful:

Dianna Agron

I’m guessing this look is a “goddess” look.  The dress has an interesting cut, and Dianna pulls it off very well.  Her hairdo is a bit severe, but it matches the look.  Love how the dress just falls.  So sleek and flattering.

Matthew Morrison

Altho Matthew looks great, I’m not a big fan of the white tux.  I guess it adds a little bit of “pizzazz” to the look…and if you were going to be more “bold,” this would be the event to do it.

Lea Michele

I thought Lea looked gorgeous!  Loved the red…and her hair!  Haven’t seen her hair so straight like this in a while…so pretty!  The dress (Escada) had kind of a “patchwork”/ragged look…interesting.  Kinda funky yet classy.  Altho her purse was so tiny, I thought it was really cute and matched her look so well!

What did YOU think?

GLEE SNEAK PEEK: 2.19 “Rumors” – “Dreams”

And yet ANOTHER sneek peak of a musical number from tomorrow’s episode.

Kristin Chenoweth’s April Rhodes is back…and she sings a duet of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” with Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison).

Enjoy!
