SARAH HYLAND vs LEA MICHELE: E! Fashion Police

Not sure if you’ve heard, but there’s quite a controversy going on between Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland and Lea Michele’s fans.

It all started when Sarah Hyland was a guest on E!’s Fashion Police show with Joan Rivers.  They were discussing Lea Michele and how she’s got the whole “posing on the red carpet” down.  Then Joan asked Sarah to try to imitate Lea, and she did:

Well, after THAT, Lea’s fans exploded on Twitter, going after Sarah for dissing Lea.  It got to the point where Sarah had a few reactions to all the bashing:

I did not intend for my comments to be taken in a malicious way. But I did hate the dress. Called her ass great. Did u all hear that one?

In no way am I jealous of Lea Michelle. I’m happy with my own life and am not jealous of anyone elses n the world.  Congrats Lea. U know how to work the red carpet. I can’t take it as seriously as you. That’s all I wanted to show on FP. It’s strange to me.  But I won’t apologize. I’m an outspoken person. I own what I said about that outfit. And I mimicked what I saw with my own two eyes.  Everyones saying How can I say that without even knowing her. But do any of you know her? Have any of u known her for 6 years?

At the Emmy Awards last night, E!’s Guiliana Rancic interviewed Sarah and asked her about the whole controversy.  You could tell Sarah was pretty uncomfortable with the whole thing:

I do think that when Sarah did imitate Lea and her posing, it was all for fun.  I mean, that’s what Fashion Police does — they MAKE FUN and CRITIQUE the fashion.  That’s it.  On the other hand, they always say that there’s at least SOME TRUTH to every joke.  I’m sure Lea didn’t even think for ONE MINUTE that it was a personal jab by Sarah at her…but it was kinda cute how Lea’s fans came to her defense like that.

THIS JUST IN: GLEE Summer Concert Tour!

OK, I really don’t have any details, but I had to post it…it’s just SO EXCITING!  Looks like a Glee Summer Concert Tour will be a GO this summer!

Rumors about a tour had been swirling for months now…and finally today pretty much all the Glee cast members have been confirming it via Twitter:

msleamichele (Lea Michele) Hey everyone! A big announcement coming at the end of the month about our next Glee tour! Lots of singing and dancing to come!!!!

druidDUDE (Kevin McHale) News about the glee summer tour coming soon! We’re coming to see all you gleeks live! Wooo! So excited

frankenteen (Cory Monteith) there is going to be a live #glee concert tour! in select cities; limited appearances. announcement and details soon. so excited!!!

DijonTalton (Dijon Talton) There is going to be a live #glee concert tour! announcement and details coming soon. Super excited!!! lol hahaha..

Mark_Salling hey yalls, get ready for a big announcement in the next week or so regarding glee tour dates

Looks like the details won’t be announced until the end of this month, but…

I’ve been DYING to see them all sing live…I mean, all their songs that I’ve been listening to constantly for months now?!  How awesome would that be?!

If it all works out…and is doable…I’M SO THERE!

“Glittering War”: Mark & Amber

This morning there has been a pretty funny tweet (twitter) “war” going on between Mark Salling (@Mark_Salling) and Amber Riley (@MsAmberRiley). Had to post it ’cause it’s pretty funny.

First, Mark posted this tweet and picture:

They’re so funny!

GLEE: Most-Tweeted Show of 2009!

Yay Glee!  According to this article, Trendrr shows that Glee was the most-tweeted about television show of 2009!  It even beat out American Idol!  Not bad for a show that debuted only one show in May, then didn’t start up again until September!  14 million tweets! Crazy!

Actually, I bet I contributed to part of that milestone!   I was tweeting about Glee HOW MANY TIMES…! :-p
