MADONNA: SuperBowl Halftime Show

I don’t watch the whole SuperBowl.  I really only watch bits & pieces.  But I DO watch the halftime show.  In fact, that’s the part I look forward to the most (other than the great commercials ).  Highly anticipated, Madonna was the halftime entertainment at the SuperBowl this year.

Madonna sang a medley of her hits…the good stuff too — Vogue, Music, Express Yourself, Like A Prayer…and she also sang her new single, Give Me All Your Luvin’  (great song) with guest appearances by LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and Cee-Lo Green.

While I couldn’t tell if she was singing live at times (majority of the time I do think she was singing live), plus there were parts where I felt like she wasn’t really dancing to her fullest (and she did kind of have a bit of a “trip moment”), overall I thought she did a great job and I really liked it!  Loved that she did some of those classic hits!  It was a very entertaining show!  And I loved all the video images they flashed on the field, etc.  Oh, and she looked great!

GLEE CAST: Fashion (Night Out) Pic + Music Video

The Glee cast is featured in the current issue of Vogue magazine for their “Fashion Night Out” campaign/event.

In honor of that, not only did they do a photoshoot…where they are all looking QUITE glam and cool:

But they also did a music video to David Bowie’s song “Fashion”.  This is the first time they all got to really play up the glam…they all looked really awesome.  This music video is basically “Lea Michele and The Glee Cast” presents rather than “The Glee Cast” presents…and she is QUITE THE STAR in this video.  But anyway… You know I don’t mind that AT ALL.

Sue Sylvester vs. Madonna: VOGUE

Gotta watch this…VERY COOL!

Someone posted Sue Sylvester’s “Vogue” video and the original Madonna “Vogue” video side by side so you can see just HOW SIMILAR they are to each other.  Glee really stayed true to the original.  It’s pretty awesome actually.

In case you missed the preview of Sue Sylvester’s “Vogue” video from next week’s “The Power of Madonna” episode, here it is!

I have to say, it was AWESOME! Almost EXACTLY like the actual Madonna music video! The outfits and everything!  Crazy good! Kurt and Mercedes looked great too, especially Kurt!  You get to see/hear Sue/Jane Lynch SING AND DANCE!  Can’t say enough about it!

I also LOVED how they changed certain lyrics – “Sue Sylvester, dance on air” and “Will Schuester, I hate you.” L-O-V-E.

If this is any indication of next week’s episode…it WILL be EPIC!

LOOK FOR: Glee Preview of Vogue After “Hell-O”

Just wanted to let you know that after the spring premiere episode of Glee tonight, they will be giving us a sneak peek of next week’s episode, “The Power of Madonna,” with the HIGHLY ANTICIPATED Sue Sylvester performance of Madonna’s “Vogue”…!
